We’re back in Wales this week for ICW and after a little run down of the card from Mr Kirkwood we join Sha Samuels already in the ring awaiting the arrival of his opponent for the evening the former ICW world heavyweight champion Trent Seven who hasn’t been seen in ICW since he lost the title to Joe Coffey. Trent comes out to a good ovation from the crowd and rolls into the ring he then goes to the corner and asks for a mic. He tells us that last week Sha Samuels put out a post on social media saying that after this tour he would be done with ICW which gets no and delete chants from the crowd, “yes” says Trent “Delete the post on Facebook and act like it didn’t happen”. He laments and says if this is one of Shas last matches he’s glad that he could have it with him here in Cardiff but he doesn’t think they should be wrestling, so he hands the mic to Sha and pops backstage emerging with a bottle of Vodka and some shot glasses.
Trent Seven vs Sha Samuels *** The ref rings the bell and Trent pours himself and Sha a shot, Sha turns to the crowd and necks it quite easily and while his back is turned Trent dumps his shot out at ringside. Sha returns and asks for another again turning his back on Trent allowing him to dump his shot, Sha is already beginning to sweat and the crowd chant one more shot, Sha heartily agrees with them, this time Trent dumps his shot on the other side of the ring. Sha thinks for a moment and then says enough and tells Trent to stop and give him the bottle and he attempts unsuccessfully to down the rest of the bottle having failed he hands the bottle to Trent and gets the crowd to peer pressure him into making an attempt on the bottle, Trent throws his head back and gets as much Vodka in his mouth as he can without actually swallowing any and then hands the bottle back to Sha, feeling a little over confident Trent goes to a corner not thinking Sha is looking and does the Triple H water spot spraying the vodka high into the air. Sha is most offended. He exclaims “WHAT ARE YOU DOING WASTING BOOZE YA MUG!” and gives Trent a slap before slapping on a side headlock. Trent shoots Sha off into the ropes and does a couple of drop downs until Sha collapses into the ropes dry heaving. Trent looks concerned and comes and whips him down with his towel. Sha gets to his feet and Trent asks if he's going to be sick, then pops him in the stomach and Shas poor choices end up on the floor at ringside as Trent recoils in horror. Trent picks Sha up onto his shoulders and carries him to the centre of the ring for an aeroplane spin, he’s about to go in the reverse direction but he stops and tells the fans to be quiet, Sha has gone completely limp on his shoulders, he drops him down gently and Sha is face down asleep in the middle of the ring. Trent gently tries to wake him and the crowd chant Teabag but Trent simply wags his finger at them, they then chant Spoon and Trent thinks for a moment before going oh alright and gets down next to Sha pulling his arm round him and the two spoon on the mat. Trent gets on his knees and is about ready to just get this over with leaning over to pin Sha but Sha quickly pulls Trent into a small package and gets a two count! Sha is quite spritely after his nap walking through Trent's chops Trent really winds up for another chop so Sha ducks but Trent stops and attempts a ddt but Sha is able to shrug him off and send him to the corner and following in with a corner splash. He then shoots him into the other buckle and as Trent comes out of the corner Sha hits a driver for two. Sha pulls Trent to his feet and sends him to the ropes Trent floats over Sha and they trade go behinds until Trent pops off a german suplex like its nothing. Trent then pulls Sha up and shoots him into the ropes but Sha reverses it and hits a big spinebuster for a two count. Sha gets up and is super fired up his beckons to the corner and the big man climbs to the top rope going for a huge moonsault but Trent rolls out of the way and Sha lands hard. As he gets up Trent leathers him with a big chop to the chest/neck and then hits the Seven Star Lariat for the pinfall. Winner by Pinfall Trent Seven Really fun opener by these two, some people see things like this as killing the business but if the crowd was reacting like they were in this match I find it hard to tell anyone that matches like this are bad for business. After the match Trent pours a shot for Sha, the ref and even one for Champagne Simon Cassidy they each take their shot while Trent necks most of the rest of the bottle Sha slaps Trent on the back as he is leaving and it looks like Trent is going to hurl he makes his way through the ropes onto the ring apron and rears back letting a big stream of vodka shoot out of his mouth and onto the crowd very reminiscent of a man with three H’s in his name. We’re treated to Davey Blaze cutting a promo last week, he starts out with a towel over his head like a modern day Taz but unfortunately he pulls the towel back ruining the image. He says every morning he wakes up with the same smile on his face and the same thought in his mind, he's thinking of when he was tagging with the Wee Man against Coach Trip and DCT, thinking of when he put Viper through a table. Coach Trip stuck his nose in Daveys business and he taught him a lesson. When Viper stuck her nose it enough was enough and Davey put a stop to it. Because he is the Scottish savage and it doesn’t matter what anyone even management thinks of him he doesn’t give a fuck. This isn’t the end this is only the beginning. Back in the ring we’re getting ready for our next match it's the debuting Sierra Loxton against the ICW women's champion Kay Lee Ray. Kay Lee Ray vs Sierra Loxton ** 1/2 Sierra Loxton gets a very lukewarm reception from the crowd until she is announced as hailing from Wales and I believe now she is every fan's favourite female wrestler, the crowd chant “Wales” with gusto as she enters the ring. Out next we have the BEST.THEME.IN.WRESTLING and for my money the best women's wrestler in the UK at the moment Kay Lee Ray oh and she just so happens to be the ICW Women's champion which she is defending here in this match. At the time of this taping Sierra Loxton is 19 and Kay Lee Ray is 24 the future really does look bright for women's wrestling here in the UK. Sliming his way behind Kay Lee Ray is Stevie Boy and he will remain out here as her manager for this match (which really begs the question how he got both a managers and a wrestlers licence). The two go to either corner and Sierra bays for the crowd's adulation while Kay Lee Ray flips the crowd off to cheers and boos respectively, they dismount the ropes and go to the centre where Sierra naively offers her hand to Kay Lee Ray who slaps it away and then goes to flips the crowd off again. Sierra goes to the ropes to rally the crowd but she turns her back on Kay Lee Ray who clubs her in the back then pulls her to the mat before laying in stomps and the match is underway. Kay Lee Ray chops the glitter off Sierra then fires her into the ropes but Sierra fights back with a series of hard right elbows and a running super kick which takes down the champ and she follows up with a standing leg drop for a two count. Kay Lee Ray rolls to the outside to try and recover but Sierra goes for a suicide dive to the outside only for Stevie boy to pop up and block her giving Kay Lee Ray more time to recover. She gets back into the ring and goes to throw Sierra to the floor but Sierra reverses it throwing her onto Stevie boy at ringside before following it up with a suicide dive wiping them both out. She throws Kay Lee Ray back into the ring and hits a super kick which catches Kay Lee Ray right under the jaw knocking her to the floor. Sierra climbs to the top rope but she takes too long playing to the crowd and Stevie boy jumps on the apron grabbing her leg and stopping her from moving, this again gives Kay Lee Ray time to recover and she clonks Sierra before hitting a big superplex from the top rope on the challenger for two. The crowd are really laying into Kay Lee Ray and she gives them some back before pulling Sierra to the middle of the ring and locking on a chinlock while flipping off the crowd. She eventually pulls Sierra to her feet and to the corner before delivering a big chop to her chest which send Sierra reeling. She walks Sierra to the opposite turnbuckle and goes for another chop but Sierra ducks and delivers one of her own, she fires herself up and walks to the other side of the ring before charging and delivering a back splash to Kay Lee Ray in the corner, she goes back to the opposite corner signalling for another one but as she goes to start running her feet are pulled out from under her by Stevie Boy. Kay Lee Ray lays Sierra across the middle ropes and as the ref pulls her away Stevie Boy grabs Sierra and wrenches on her neck. Kay Lee Ray gets a two count and then goes back to flipping off the fans taking Sierra a little too lightly. Kay Lee Ray goes to shoot Sierra off but she ducks under the clothesline and hits a lariat, an uppercut and then a huge german suplex that sends Kay Lee Ray reeling to the corner. Sierra calls for a hip attack in the corner but instead bounces off the ropes and hits a suicide dive on Stevie Boy neutralizing him. She climbs back into the ring and hits three hip attacks into the corner on the Kay Lee Ray in quick succession. Sierra rolls Kay Lee Ray out of the corner onto her front then comes off the ropes with a leg drop to the back of her head driving Kay Lee Ray's face into the mat and gets a close two count. Sierra picks the champ up and gets in position for a German suplex but Kay Lee Ray spirals out of the hold and hits a super kick followed by a quick downward spiral and then locks in a Koji clutch in the middle of the ring. The fans will Seirra to the ropes and she fights and fight before getting her toes to the bottom rope for the break. Kay Lee Ray hold on and then jaw jacks with the crowd again before turning round into a small package from Sierra for a two count, as Kay Lee Ray stands back up Sierra catches her with an impaler ddt and the ref counts one, two and as he is about to count three Stevie boy pulls the refs leg stopping the count. Sierra goes to the ropes to argue with Stevie and the ref but as she does Kay Lee Ray sneaks up behind her and pulls her around into a head butt, she then picks up a groggy Sierra and hits a Gory Bomb in the middle of the ring before climbing to the top rope and hitting a big senton bomb for the three count and to retain her title. Winner by Pinfall Kay Lee Ray Very good first outing for Sierra she is definitely not a finished product right now but there is definitely something there and the moves that she did in this match looks crisp and she was even beginning to make a connection with the fans but that could well be put down to home field advantage. After the match Kay Lee Ray goes to add insult to injury but Sierra gets a shot in and on her sending her reeling. Stevie Boy charges at sher but Sierra ducks and hits a big german onto the women's title on Stevie and then hits one on Kay Lee Ray for good measure and poses with the title to a big pop from the crowd. It's quite clear that the story is here without the outside interference from Stevie Boy we could well be looking at the new ICW Womens Champion. We join Trent Seven backstage he says he really hopes that Sha reconsiders because if he does leave ICW a little bit of him would be going with him. But onto business this was Trent's first match back since losing the title and he admits on the night Joe Coffey was the better man and he got the best of him but the next time they step into the ring Trent will be ready for him. All Trent wanted to do when he had that belt was to roll down mustache mountain and defend it anywhere and everywhere and he was the one that took that belt to a WWE ring over wrestlemania weekend and defended it. He hopes he was the kind of world champion the fans wanted and promised to get his belt back the next opportunity he gets. Next up we have a match that not too long ago was headlining Fear and Loathing for the ICW World Heavyweight championship. One of the biggest rivalries of recent years for ICW reignites as the man who recently turned his back on ICW, Grado, takes on the newest charge of Mikey Whiplash, Chris Renfrew. Grado arrives in an impact wrestling shirt to a huge round of boos he also has a mic. He tells Cardiff to calm itself, he announces himself as the star of the BBC (boo) the star of ITV (boo) the star of Impact Wrestling the number one wrestling company in the world as seen on Spike TV on freeview (BOO Fuck TNA chants) he says he is a more valuable commodity than Gareth Bale (boo) he is in better shape than Mason Ryan (boo) he is a better cruis…..a better X division wrestler than Mark Andrews (BOO Mandrews chant) he call the fans jabronis and gets in a few people's faces before telling them to buy his hat, the crowd respond with you’re not worth it chants and some very nastily worded opinions about Dixie Carter and her private life. Grado gets into the ring and says that this brings him to the biggest jabroni of them all to which the crowd respond with It's Yersel chants. He says Renfrew looks like a freak with shit face paint and as he turns to the ref to ask what Renfrew's problem is he double legs Grado and the bell rings to get the match underway. Grado vs Chris Renfrew *** Renfrew goes for the eyes and bites the forehead of Grado and we see that Renfrew has prison like number markings on his back. Grado reverses in the corner and delivers some back elbows before taking Renfrew to the other turnbuckle. The crowd chants you fat bastard at Grado and that gives Renfrew time to get his bearings and he whips Grado to the corner and hits him with a big shoulder tackle knocking the former champ off his feet much to his surprise. Grado rolls out of the ring looking quite scared of Renfrew, when Grado is outside the ring Renfrew returns to his corner and puts his hands behind his back staring at Grado. Grado hops on the apron and Renfrew slowly approaches but Grado drops back down and Renfrew returns to his corner. Grado gets an idea and hops back onto the apron and waits for Renfrew to get close enough before dropping down and sweeping his feet out from under him to pull him out of the ring. He then delivers a knife edge chop to Renfrew who just cocks his head and stares a hole through Grado, Grado delivers another chop with no effect and decides this isn’t worth it and walks away quick sharp. Renfrew follows but gets momentarily distracted staring into the camera and out of nowhere a chair flies in and clonks Renfrew in the head taking him down. Grado sits Renfrew in a chair and then gets a run up and delivers a running cannonball sandwiching Renfrew between him and the apron that actually looks really impressive. Grado waves off the fans chanting holy shit and picks Renfrew up who gives Grado a little push to get the distance then unleashes a sick chop to his chest that sounded like a gunshot and then a second one for good measure before returning the sick chair shot to Grados head. He repeats the pattern with another chop and another chair to the head he then dumps Grado into the crowd and the brawl around ringside through each other into walls and the like. Renfrew gets the better of it and goes to throw Grado into the railing at ringside but Grado reverses it and Renfrew smashes into the railing hard. Grado sits Renfrew on the barricade but takes to long jaw jacking with fans and Renfrew rakes the eyes before hopping back over the railing grabbing a chair and launching it at Grados head, he hops over the barrier and then hits a hard chair shot to Grados head (really glad Grado is getting his hands up here). He sits Grado in the chair and sizes up for a drop kick but Grado gets up and hip tosses him onto the chair and Renfrew hits the back of the chair spine first and crumples to the floor. Grado picks up his limp body and drags him back to the ring rolling him inside. Grado starts his punch combo to the jaw and calls for a bionic elbow but Renfrew caves his chest in with a hard chop, he takes Grado to the corner and hits another one before sitting Grado on the tope rope and go for a top rope stunner but Grado shoves him off. Grado calls for an elbow from the top but the crowd chant you fat bastard at him so he flips them off and slowly dismounts before going for a standing diving elbow and missing. Renfrew moves Grado to the corner and goes to whip him to the opposite corner but Grado reverses it and whips Renfrew chest first into the buckle and he crumples to the floor yet again. Grado hangs Renfrew over the second rope Grado drops his leg across the back of Renfrew's head twice before pulling out a double J strut and screaming I hope your watching uncle Jeff and going for a third but Renfrew decapitates him with a clothesline and as Grado staggers to his feet and goes into a dizzy animation Renfrew comes off the top with a dropkick right to the face for a two count. Grado gets his boot up in the corner as Renfrew charges in, Renfrew ducks a clothesline and Grado does so aswell before hitting an RKO for a two count. Grado gets security to throw in steel chairs which he sets up in the middle of the ring and goes to hit a Stroke through the chairs but Renfrew reverses and surprisingly easily picks Grado up and delivers a Death Valley Driver through the chairs for a two count. Renfrew gets up and a video starts playing on the tron with what looks like Mikey Whiplash and the word OBEY flashing on the screen Renfrew goes into a trance with his back to Grado who ties him up and hits the Stroke in the middle of the ring for the three count. Winner by Pinfall Grado Some good garbage brawling here and Grado cut a great heel promo before the match with elevated everything done in the match he had the crowd eating out of his hand for pretty much the entire match. Grado taunts Renfrew before going to the back and Renfrew with no emotion just stands up and walks to the back. We go straight back to the ring with Modern Culture Danny Jones and Richie Edwards the current Knights of Chaos Champions from Pro Wrestling Chaos already in the ring and the marauders Bird and Boar making their entrance. Not as big as a reaction for Bird and Boar as I had expected with them being from Wales. The Marauders vs Modern Culture **** In an extremely thick Welsh accent Richie says he “Fuckin hates wrestling in Cardiff, tell em Danny” and he hands the mic off to Danny who puts it to his lips and speaks but….appears to have knocked it off which send the crowd into stitches. When he does get the mic back on he says the modern culture don’t come to ICW unless it is for the gold he hands the mic back to Richie who tells “Pigeon boy” and “Pig man” to put the titles on the line right here in Cardiff. Bird and Boar hand the title to the ref and Mike Bird gets on the mic and says….”yeah safe” and we’re on this match is now for the ICW World Tag Team Championship. Richie tries to rush Boar at the bell but he simply elevates him into a upper cut from Bird, Boar then spears Danny into the corner and then picks him up to deliver a rolling senton and then an assisted back senton Modern Culture are laid out and the champs are rolling. Richie comes back with some nice forearms to Boar but Boar fire him into the corner with a knife edge chop, Boar charges in but Ritchie moves and charges in himself only to be caught in a uranage out of the corner followed by a big standing back senton from Boar. Boar shoots Ritchie into the ropes but he flips over the ropes and when Boar charges in he delivers a nice rope hung enziguri then a springboard dropkick before dragging Boar to his corner for a tag. Danny Jones is in for Modern Culture and works over Boar with kicks and chops to the corner but as he tries to whip Boar out he uses his low centre of gravity to put the brakes on. Danny delivers a kick and throws Boar out of the corner but Boar reverses it and Danny floats over a charge to the corner the both go to the ropes but Danny uses his speed to drop down and trip boar before kipping up and hitting a super kick to the back of Boar's head (very impressive from Danny who is the biggest man in this match). Danny pulls up Boar who reverses out of a brainbuster attempt and then delivers a ton of chops to Danny's chest walking him to the ropes. Boar ties Danny up and hits some more chops in the ropes but as he brings him out Danny hits a crisp enziguri to Boar and then hits a falcon arrow for a two count. Danny takes Boar to his corner and gets the tag Ritchie comes in and whips Danny to Boar who gets his feet up and then blocks Ritchie in the stomach before delivering an exploder suplex out of the corner to Ritchie who wipes out his partner with his legs. Boar crawls to his corner and gets the tag to Bird who runs wild with hard forearms on both members of Modern Culture before hitting big German suplexes on both of them. Then as he chops one member Board Enters the ring and spears the other member in the opposite corner and then they switch as Modern Culture slump to the floor the hit stereo cannonballs in the corner. Bird picks Ritchie up in position for Boar to deliver a lung blower but Danny hits a Brogue kick on Boar and rolls Ritchie through into a victory roll for two. Ritchie then hits a spinning Brogue kick to Bird and the champs are laid out. Ritchie then picks Bird up for a suplex Danny catches him on his shoulders and as he drops him forward Ritchie comes off the ropes and catches him with a ddt Ritchie drops down into a pin and Danny goes to stop Boar from breaking it up but Boar hits a pop up powerbomb onto the pin and breaks it at two in a great sequence. Danny hits a tilt-a-whirl back breaker on Boar and then holds him across his knee and Ritchie delivers a standing double foot stomp to Boar and he is forced to roll out of the ring. Bird staggers to his feet and Ritchie hits a discuss elbow and Danny picks him up for a slam and as he falls forward Ritchie comes off the second rope with a back breaker to Bird for a two point five count. They both whip Bird to the corner but he flips over onto the apron and drops to the floor meanwhile Boar sneaks back in and hits high angle back suplexes on both members of Modern Culture. Both members of Modern Culture are laid in the corner and Boar hits a huge cannonball on both of them sending them reeling to the floor. Bird rolls back in and goes for a suicide dive but at the last second bounce of the ropes and rolls back punking Modern Culture before holding the ropes open seemingly for them to get back in the ring. Modern Culture laugh at this and turn their backs and as they do so Wild Boar tears through the opening and hits a big suicide dive on both of them ramming them into the barrier at ringside. Boar opens the barrier up and takes Modern Culture to the crowd and Bird comes off the top rope with a a big cross body into the crowd. They pick up Ritchie Edward and take him into the ring where Bird hits a face down lumbar check and then hold Ritchie on his knees as Wild Boar comes off the top with a frog splash before hitting a suicide dive onto Danny Jones on the outside to stop him breaking up the pin as the ref counts three. Winners by Pinfall The Marauders This was a very good match and a great showcase of Modern Culture I hope to see them back in ICW very soon and would like to see what kind of match these two teams could put on maybe during a pay per view with more time and more of a licence to go crazy. Backstage we see Joe Coffey shadow boxing and getting ready for his match which coincedently is on next. A non title match against Jack Jester and it is our main event of the evening. We join Simon Cassidy in ring for the main event introductions. Joe Coffey grabs the mic and says its funny that the crowd is booing because the last time he was in this building all he heard was chants of his name and the crowd all went to the merch stand and filled his pockets. He says tonight he’s feeling generous and since he sold the show out he is going to put his title on the line however it would be under his rules. There will be DQs in this match there will be count outs, there will be pinfalls and submissions and there will be a ten count for if a wrestler can’t answer the referee's call much like this and then proceeds to hit a shotgun dropkick on Jester into the corner and the match is on. Jack Jester vs Joe Coffey ** Joe works Jack over in the corner with hard punches until Jack is able to get his boot up and then comes off the top rope with a shoulder block sending Coffey reeling out of the ring. Joe catches Jester as he comes out of the ring and proceeds to work him over at ringside. Joe goes to whip Jester into the barrier but Jester reverses the whip and Joe stops himself just short of the barrier. Jester charges Joe who lifts him over the apron then grabs him and pulls him chest first into the barrier. Joe gets a run up like hes going to fly over the barrier but he catches the ring apron and rolls himself into the ring to wait for the refs count. Jester gets back in at nine and Joe puts the boots to him before setting him up in the corner Jester gets his boot up on the charge and then gets a punch in on Coffey before he rolls back out of the ring. Joe hops back on the apron and Jester punches him off the apron and Joe hits the barrier hard. Joe waits on the outside knowing Jester will eventually come out to break the count. Joe delivers a headbutt to Jester as he meets him then tries to whip him to the barrier but it gets reversed and Joe hits the ring post hard. Jester picks Coffey up for a scoop slam on the outside and follows up with a Foley elbow off the apron to the floor but Jester clutches his knee upon landing. Jester lays Coffey on the apron and hits an apron leg drop on the champ right across the neck. Joe is holding onto the ropes back in the ring so Jester picks him up by the legs and boots him in a questionably low section of his stomach. Jester hops outside and retrieves a steel chair, back in the ring the ref tells him if he wants the title he can’t use the chair and eventually Jester laments and drops the chair but Coffey spits water in his eyes dropping him and then turns him over into a deep single leg crab. Jester is willed by the crowd to the ropes and Joe breaks on the 5 count before stomping Jester and wearing him down with his knee on his neck. He then moves Jester to the corner and repeatedly mule kicks him. He grabs a mic and asks Jester how it feels to be beaten by a real world champion. He says he sold this building out so he can take all the time he wants, he was put up last night in a shitty travelodge and now he's going to take it out on Jester. He pulls a card from his boot and gets Jester in a camel clutch and slides the card along the edge of Jesters mouth holding until the five count. He lets Jester up but beats him to the rope with hard punches until Jester turns it around on him and goes to come off the ropes but Joe picks him up into a backbreaker for a two count. Joe works over Jesters arm and back before hitting a big spear and then going to the corner and calling for a superman punch which he hits and drops into a lackadaisical cover but only gets a two count. Joe goes back to the well but this time goes for a discuss superman punch but Jester ducks it and hits a lariat. Both men just answer the ten count and begin trading strikes in the middle of the ring, Joe pokes Jack in the eyes but Jack ducks the oncoming strike and sends Joe to the corner, they trade splashes in the corner until Joe hits a back elbow and goes for his springboard crossbody but Jack moves and Joe comes down hard on his knee crying out in pain. The ref tries to keep Jack off Joe who has enough energy to kick out of a pin at one but can’t get to his feet. The ref backs Jack to a corner and goes back to checking Joe over. The ref throws up an X and the other refs come to the ring along with Mark Dallas who has a quick word with Jester before heading to the back. The refs help Joe to the back and Jack looks flustered in the ring. Simon Cassidy says solemnly that Joe had injured his knee and they’d try and keep the crowd up to date with his condition. As Jester goes to walk through the curtain Joe comes back through the curtain and attacks Jack hopping about showing his knee is totally fine. Joe hits a stomp in the corner but spends to much time playing to the fans and Jester puts him in the corner and goes for a splash but Joe pulls the ref in the way and he goes down. Jack hits his finisher in the middle of the ring and drops into a pin with no ref to count. Jack tries to revive the ref and Joe grabs a steel chair he slams it on the mat and then throws it to Jester and the ref turns round and see Joe laid out and Jester with a chair. Jester pleads with the ref and when the ref checks on Joe he's laughing so he keeps the match going Joe pops up and headbutts Jester then locks on a full boston crab. Jack fights for the ropes but Joe drags him back to the middle not once but twice. He pulls Jack just a little bit away from the ropes and then Jack drops limp the ref raises and drops the arm once, twice and on the third time Jester reaches the ropes as his arm drops to break the hold. Jester pulls himself up in the corner and Joe hits a splash and then a corner clothesline and goes for another but Jester explodes out of the corner and to the ropes then comes back with a lariat that spirals Coffey and drops him in the middle of the ring. Jester goes for a discuss clothesline and Joe ducks and goes for one of his own, Jester ducks under and picks Joe up for a tombstone, Joe powers out and goes for a discus elbow but Jester blocks it but Joe simply lariats his head clean off his shoulder for the three count and to retain his title. Winner by Pinfall Joe Coffey This match was, hard to rate. The in ring work was fine but it relied heavily on stalling outside the ring and was overbooked in the middle with a fake injury, a ref bump and a teased DQ all within the span of a minute. It's a real shame because these two could have had a good hard hitting match but it felt like the match was booked against the wrestlers and the match quality suffered because of it. There were times watching this match I was sure I was watching a TNA main event towards the end of Vince Russos tv booking days and that is in no way a compliment. The in ring work was fine but the booking of the match honestly made me want to turn off which is a shame as it brought the show down right at the end and from what I can tell also ended the taping on a sour note. The real symbol of weather this worked or not was shown when the crowd barely booed at the end and most just seemed apathetic. After the match Grado came out and celebrated with Coffey in an impact t shirt and socks and sandals and that's it for this week. If you’re thinking about watching this episode of ICW fight club take my advice and leave it after watching the tag title match there really is little point wasting your time watching a 25 minute main event where the only thing you really find out is that Joe Coffey is willing to be a dick a fact he got over in his promo before the match. Besides the main event the show was pretty fun and easy to watch. Let's hope we can bounce back next week as ICW on tour rolls on. So until next week keep it too hot to handle, too cold to hold. @Juliejwl777
