How did you first become interested in the world of professional wrestling and who were some of your favourites at that time?
My brother was watching WWF in 1998 so I joined along. I really enjoyed Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Was there a particular moment that made you want to become a pro wrestler?
Not really. It sort of gradually grew over time.
Which training school did you attend and how did you find out about it?
The New England Pro Wrestling Academy. I found out about through a series of websites while researching Triple H/Killer Kowalski's.
You made your in-ring debut in 2013. What are your memories of your first ever match and show?
Atlantic Pro Wrestling in Spring 2013. I remember I wasn't supposed to have a match. They asked me last second and of course I said yes. It wasn't very long or very good. I lost, its on YouTube somewhere. Whoever posted it to YouTube thought my name was Ty Jack.
You debuted for Ring of Honor in 2014 at the Future of Honor 2 event before going on to defeat Will Ferrara to become the 2015 Top Prospect Tournament winner. How important were both that match and tournament victory for your career?
Both very important. Moose and Will are two guys who I have been very fortunate to have multiple important matches against. Those two specifically were really turning points for me.
Shortly after that tournament, you opted not to take your ROH World Television Title opportunity and instead joined The House of Truth. What was the experience like working alongside Truth Martini, Jay Lethal and J. Diesel?
Great to be in the stable to learn what it took to be a champion.
You were banished from The House of Truth in early 2016 and you were soon working under the guidance of Prince Nana. How different did you find their styles as managers for you as a wrestler?
I try not to worry to much about the managers when I am wrestling. They do their thing and I do min.
In 2016 you came to the UK to wrestle for promotions such as IPW:UK, Rev Pro and UPW. What was it that attracted you to coming to the UK to compete and are there any matches that stand out in your mind?
That's where wXw booked me on the tour. I'd say the first match with Josh Bodom from Rev Pro probably stands out the most because it lead to multiple tours going forward.
Eddie Dennis has been fairly vocal about wanting a rubber match with you after you both hold a victory over the other. Can we expect to see the third match, whether that be here in the UK or in the States?
I hope so! Eddie is an unbelievable talent and he deserves worldwide recognition that I'm sure he will garner soon.
Away from wrestling, what do you do in your free time to unwind and relax from being in the ring?
I like to play with my mini schnauzers.
It was announced recently that you'll be facing Trevor Lee in the first round of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's Battle of Los Angeles. If you do make it all the way to the final, is there anyone that you'd like to wrestle along the way?
Keith Lee would be nice.
It was recently announced that you're no longer taking any further independent bookings. Between now and your last date on the independent scene, where can fans go to see Donovan Dijak?
All of my upcoming dates are always pinned to the top of my twitter timeline.
Lastly, if you could name one person who has had the biggest influence on you both personally and professionally, who would you name?
My brother, Jason Dijak.
