Discovery Wrestling Featuring MVP
The Jam House | Edinburgh March 4th 2018 Hello! I'm back to go through the upcoming Discovery Wrestling event on March 4th, emanating from The Jam House in Edinburgh to continue the wave of Discovery sweeping 2018 off the back of The Disco Derby. Boasting former WWE and Impact Wrestling talent MVP along with WWE United Kingdom Tournament competitor Jordan Devlin and WWE Mae Young Classic competitor Viper, it has all the makings to be another stellar, sold out event in the capital. As always with Discovery Wrestling they certainly have something for everyone. A nothing encapsulates that more than Discovery Wrestling Tag Team Champion 2017 Gene Munny against…Session Moth Martina. It's difficult to sum up what may be seen in this match into words. Two charismatic performers doing…charismatic things. One that will have less laughs will be the continuation of Michael Chase soting to rid Discovery Wrestling of those that he deems to be in his way. Since losing to Christopher Saynt at the end of 2017 he has snapped and focused his attention on DCT, Dickie Divers and Ravie Davie who he feels cost him the victory that now means he can't go near The House of Saynt. At The Disco Derby, Chase interferred to make sure Ravie Davie would not win, costing him a regular place at Discovery Wrestling. So it comes down to this, Michael Chase versus Ravie Davie, if Chase loses then he will leave Discovery Wrestling. We've seen Big Damo leave under the same circumstances in the past, could Chase be joining him? Speaking of The Disco Derby, Andy Wild outlasted the competition and pinned Bram on route to earning a regular roster space on the Discovery Wrestling Jam House shows. He's been rewarded with a match against WWE UK Tournament competitor Jordan Devlin, a man that was trained by Finn Balor. Devlin makes his debut at The Jam House as he comes up against the continuing resurgence of 'Unstoppable' Andy Wild, who will be looking towards challenging the Y Division Champion in the near future. Kings collide when The Kings of the North return to Discovery Wrestling to face The Kings of Catch. Girvan and Faith have quickly established themselves as one of the best tag teams in the country, coming off big wins over The Young Bucks, Polo Promotions & The Buffet Club in December then Chris Brookes & Omari at The Disco Derby in January as they come up against one of the best teams in Ireland. Corvin and Bonesaw proved that they weren't a team to mess with back in September in their debut, although they didn't walk away with victory they certainly left an impression. Sammii Jayne defends her Women's Championship against two that have had title shots in waiting. Nina Samuels missed her last opportunity as she was unavailable when the Women's Championship tournament final was rearranged, replaced by Ayesha Raymond, the match saw Jayne win the championship. Viper was due to face Sammii at the end of last year but could not compete due to injury and was replaced by Kay Lee Ray. So they will both be looking to make up for lost time. Sammii Jayne has proven to be a fighting champion in Discovery Wrestling, taking victories over Little Miss Roxxy and Kay Lee Ray while being pushed to the limits. Former WWE United States and Tag Team Champion Montel Vontavious Porter makes his Discovery Wrestling debut against 'The Prestegious' Joe Hendry. Hendry recently qualified for the Commonwealth Games and will no doubt want to put his wrestling skills to good use against MVP. MVP is a big advocate of the British style of wrestling so this could be a very mat based encounter. Following his entrance send up to Dalton Castle, I’d be interested to see if Hendry can acquire a blow up entrance way, y'know, like the good ol' days of MVP. Hendry was undefeated in one on one competition in 2017 at Discovery Wrestling, picking up wins over Dave Conrad, Liam Slater, Dalton Castle and David Starr. He'll be looking for that to continue and get himself back into the title picture. Two years ago BT Gunn faced Lewis Girvan over the Y Division Championship. Thanks to interference from Christopher Saynt he was unsuccessful. Fast forward to this Sunday and once again BT Gunn has a chance to win the Y Division Championship. Joe Coffey has beating all comers since grabbing the title from Lewis Girvan in September. From Matt Riddle to Zack Sabre Jr with Matt Cross in between. Gunn and Coffey are no strangers to each other and have fought across the country, plus in Discovery they teamed together along with Girvan to face The Elite last year. This will be a tense match up and anything could happen. Could Aspen Faith play spoiler and exploit the 'championship match at his choosing' rule that comes with winning the Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational? All this plus Christopher Saynt has made it know that The House Of Saynt will be gracing Edinburgh with their presence. After recently turning back Michael Chase, it's a wonder as to what Saynt has planned next. If that wasn't enough there will be announcment about the future of Discovery Wrestling, and a raffle. There are a few seats available at The Jam House and they can be picked up at shop.discoverywrestling.com Announced: Gene Munny vs Session Moth Martina Michael Chase vs Ravie Davie Jordan Devlin vs Andy Wild MVP vs Joe Hendry The Kings of the North (Bonesaw & Damien Corvin) vs The Kings of Catch (Aspen Faith & Lewis Girvan) Woman's Championship - Sammii Jayne (c) vs Nina Samuels vs Viper Y Division Championship - Joe Coffey (c) vs BT Gunn

Discovery Wrestling Presents The Disco Derby
The Jam House | Edinburgh January 19th 2018 Discovery Wrestling promised to kick off 2018 with a bang and this is the way to do it. Five matches that includes a ton of debuts and a colossal Disco Derby. This will mark the beginning of a wave of shows with guests coming up including MVP and Joey Ryan, along with the cream of the crop when it comes to wrestlers in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Let's take a look at the matches announced. The first match that was revealed for this event was a current dream match, the team of Chris Brookes and Kid Lykos against The Kings of Catch, former Y Division Champion Lewis Girvan and the Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational winner Aspen Faith. There was a big buzz about this one with #CCK making their Discovery Wrestling debuts. It wasn't to be as Lykos suffered an injury but has been replaced by the highly rated Omari. Lykos will be in their corner, so maybe The Kings will have to become a Kingdom… Girvan and Faith aren't shy in tipping the numbers in their favour so perhaps they have a couple tricks up their sleeves. Sammii Jayne had an incredible year in 2017 and ended her Discovery year successfully defending her Woman's Championship against Kay Lee Ray. With challengers waiting in the wings like Nina Samuels, Debbie Sharpe and Session Moth Martina she has to get past Little Miss Roxxy who will be making her debut. These two are no strangers having had recent battles at Absolute Wrestling. BT Gunn and Chris Ridgeway are very similar in style, stiff kicks, hard chops and just absolute skin blistering moves. They've faced off before in ICW while Fight Club was on tour in Liverpool so it will be great to see these two square off again on Gunn's home soil. Probably best to take ear defenders. Ridgeway just fell short in winning the Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational when he was defeated by the eventual winner, Aspen Faith. BT Gunn also fell short in the Uncivil War match so both will be looking to bounce back and move forward into the Y Division Championship picture. Joe Coffey makes another defence of his Y Division Championship against another stellar challenger, after knocking back Matt Riddle, Coffey faces one of the most prolific British wrestlers in the last decade in Zack Sabre Jr. This has the anticipation of a mat classic with a slow build to a thrilling conclusion. Certainly a match of the night, or even year, encounter. And finally, The Disco Derby. Marking many debuts in Discovery Wrestling with all hoping to win and earn themselves a regular place on the Disco roster. Damien Daniels, Shawn Johnson, DCT, Jason Reed, Andy Wild, Rob Mills and Jackie Grady all make in ring returns to Discovery with Damien having the longest break from Edinburgh. When it comes to a rumble match of any sort it can often come down to experience. At The Disco Derby we will see three winners of the WrestleZone Regal Rumble (Crusher Craib, Scotty Swift & Shawn Johnson) plus a winner of the ICW Square Go! (Dickie Divers) and The Reckless Rumble (DCT) take part in this huge Disco Derby with 15 other competitors. A BIG question is who will be able to throw out Kuma? The giant is a mountain of man, the biggest wrestler in the UK since Giant Haystacks, and the others in the match will need some sort of co-operation to even make it past the colossous from the North East. He's the biggest man in the match but you also have Andy Wild and Crusher Craib who may be big and strong enough to muscle Kuma over the top rope. Maybe the teamwork aspect will work in favour of Jackie Grady and Rob Mills who are a popular team in Reckless Intent Wrestling as The Headbanders. As of writing there are two names to be announced, which provides a bit of mystery. If they aren't announced then going from Discovery Wrestling's history of surprises then these may be worth the price of admission. Something interesting coming into this one is Michael Chase targeting Ravie Davie, DCT and Dickie Divers who he thinks tried to take his spotlight in December during his lumberjack match against Christopher Saynt which ultimately cost him a victory and means The House of Saynt continues in Discovery Wrestling. Chase isn't in this match but his presence may be felt. All we know is that it's unpredictable and will be a spectacle. Who will earn themselves a regular place on the Discovery Wrestling roster? There are a few balcony seats available at The Jam House and they can be picked up at shop.discoverywrestling.com Announced: BT Gunn vs Chris Ridgeway Chris Brookes & Omari vs The Kings of Catch (Aspen Faith & Lewis Girvan) Discovery Wrestling Woman's Championship - Sammii Jayne (c) vs Little Miss Roxxy Discovery Wrestling Y Division Championship - Joe Coffey (c) vs Zack Sabre Jr The Disco Derby - Entrants Confirmed: Ravie Davie, DCT, Crusher Craib, Kuma, Andy Wild, Damien Daniels, Dickie Divers, Aaron Echo, Solar, Kieran Kelly, Shady Nattrass, Scotty Swift, Jackie Grady, Rob Mills, Jason Reed, Shawn Johnson, Soldato, Jonathan Richards, ??? & ??? December 7th 2017 | Corn Exchange | Edinburgh
The final Discovery Wrestling show of 2017 is possibly one of the most stacked yet with The Young Bucks and Marty Scurll returning to Edinburgh with the current Ring of Honor Champion Cody making his debut. This isn't the first time that the current Ring of Honor Champion has appeared at Discovery Wrestling with Jay Lethal defending the title in the past against Joe Coffey. Along with The Bullet Club, we also have David Starr, Flip Gordon and Matt Cross making their debuts at Discovery Wrestling. With the lead up to The Disco Derby in January we're getting a lot of new faces making appearances in Disco and returning faces in Kenny Williams, Liam Slater and Kay Lee Ray. Two titles are on the line when Sammii Jayne makes her first defense of the Discovery Wrestling Woman's Championship against one of the best wrestlers in the world in Kay Lee Ray, who replaced Viper after she pulled out due to injury. These two have faced off a few years back in Fierce Females in a really great match and on that occasion it was Kay Lee Ray defending her Scottish Championship so the shoe is on the other foot with Sammii coming in with gold around her waist. Sammii has grown into a fantastic wrestler so this match will be very good. Joe Coffey makes his second Y Division Championship defense after getting past Matt Riddle at Uncivil War. He comes up against Lucha Underground star 'Son of Havoc' Matt Cross. A clash of styles with Coffey usually out to use his strength and technical prowess while Cross is all about speed. The former champion, Lewis Girvan, will be watching this one very closely as a rematch must be on the horizon. The 2017 Discovery Wrestling Tag Team Champions The Buffet Club aim to show why they won Uncivil War and continue their winning ways. The are against the team that handed them their only loss in Disco, Polo Promotions, the former Y Division Champion Lewis Girvan and Aspen Faith as The Kings of Catch plus one of the most prolific tag teams in wrestling The Young Bucks who plan to have another Superkick Party in Edinburgh. The interesting part of this one is Aspen Faith has had two run ins with The Young Bucks in Disco and has never been hit with the Superkick plus The Kings have The Apter Burner against The Bucks' Meltzer Driver. This four way is a tale of two matches as Polo Promotions and The Buffet Club have this unfinished business and The Kings and The Bucks have a dream match on show. Will be a wild night with these four teams in the ring. With so many matches there might be some dark horses for match of the night and Kenny Williams versus Liam Slater might just steal the show. Two very young and talented wrestlers who are quicker than a hiccup with bags of charisma. Then there's Joe Hendry against David Starr and 'The Villian' Marty Scurll against Flip Gordon. Two matches that have plenty of potential to be the talking point coming out of this event. After losing Uncivil War, BT Gunn will be looking to get back on track against current Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion Cody. A match that I'd even like to see have that title on the line which would add an extra interest to a match that will be excellent. Gunn is currently on an amazing run across the country and with his recent WWE tryout it will be fun to see him against Cody, who has been through the WWE system and has been a champion in the top promotion in the world. Another possible show stealer. Finally the Christopher Saynt-Michael Chase saga comes to an end in a Lumberjack Match. If Chase wins then The House of Saynt disbands but if Saynt wins then Chase can't touch The House of Saynt. For both it will be great to see these two move onto other things with this battle having gone on for a long time now. The Lumberjacks will no doubt include Theo Doros and Lou King Sharp who have been part of this saga. Online sales have closed so tickets are only available at the door and will be limited, if you're in the area get to The Corn Exchange in Edinburgh for a huge night of wrestling to end Discovery Wrestling's 2017. Announced: Marty Scurll vs Flip Gordon Kenny Williams vs Liam Slater Joe Hendry vs David Starr BT Gunn vs Cody Four Way Elimination - The Young Bucks (Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson) vs Polo Promotions (Mark Coffey & Jackie Polo) vs Buffet Club (Gene Munny & Uncle Bobby) vs The Kings of Catch (Aspen Faith & Lewis Girvan) Lumberjack Match - Christopher Saynt vs Micheal Chase Discovery Wrestling Woman's Championship - Sammii Jayne (c) vs Kay Lee Ray Discovery Wrestling Y Division Championship - Joe Coffey (c) vs Matt Cross It's full steam ahead as Discovery Wrestling has lined up another packed line up in Edinburgh. Even though I'm two events behind with reviews here on BritWres Review, one of which I aim to get done as soon as possible, in the meantime let's take a look at Uncivil War, the culmination of all the tournaments Discovery Wrestling have been running this year. The Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational, the Woman's Championship and the Tag Team Championships winners will be decided at this event.
Originally British Strong Style where to make their debut but due to WWE commitments they were no longer able to appear, the loss of Seven, Bate and Dunne looked to be Discovery's gain as favourite Matt Riddle returns to Discovery with a huge opportunity to add another shiny belt to his growing collection. Riddle faces the new Discovery Wrestling Y Division Champion, Joe Coffey. Joe vs Bro at The Jam House. Riddle is 1-1 in Discovery whereas Coffey has an impressive win-loss record plus he has faced the best the world has to offer in Disco like Ciampa, Lethal and Ohno. He won the Y Division Championship in a match many have hailed as the best in Discovery Wrestling history. A strong start to the reign of Coffey and he comes up against a seriously strong challenger. The former champion, Lewis Girvan, must be watching this one closely as he will be due a rematch in the near future. Girvan will be busy that night when he goes up against the debuting El Ligero. Ligero is one of the busiest wrestlers in the country, you get booked everywhere unless you are one of the best in the country and Ligero is certainly that. Girvan's 666-day reign as Y Division Champion ended in a spectacular fashion, he will be out to regain the momentum that powered him through that 600 day plus reign with a win over the lightning quick masked man. Expect Lewis to try and slow down the pace from the get-go and attempt to tie up Ligero. This will be a phenomenal match. Lewis won't be the only King of Catch in action as Aspen Faith has, possibly, the biggest match of his young career when he enters as the finalist of The Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational. He's up against Rampage Brown, who defeated Mikey Whiplash on route to the final. You have the power of Rampage and the technic of Faith who will have no doubt scouted Rampage for any weaknesses. The only problem with that is that Rampage has very few flaws, he's got the strength, a lot of speed for a man his size and doesn't seem to have a conscious when it comes to inflicting pain. Faith is coming in as the underdog but has found, not always legal, ways to get past opponents before and will be out to claim himself a future Y Division Championship opportunity. With the tournaments wrapping up, one feud looks set to conclude when Michael Chase and Christopher Saynt square off. If Chase wins, The House of Saynt will disband in Discovery Wrestling, however, if Saynt wins then Chase can't touch or go near anyone in The House of Saynt. This war has been raging on for months with an end in sight, will Saynt have one more trick up his sleeve? Rescheduled due to the match stoppage at the last event, the Discovery Wrestling Woman's Champion will be crowned when Sammii Jayne, Martina and Lucy Cole return but due to scheduling conflicts Nina Samuels couldn't return, instead the current number one contender Ayesha Raymond takes her place while Samuels has been promised a shot that the championship in the future. I did a big breakdown of the four competitors previously but the inclusion of the only English entrant in the WWE Mae Young Classic throws a spanner into the works, the powerhouse has already got a bone to pick with Martina seeing as she was the reason that Raymond wasn't in this match in the first place. Cole will be entering with some trepidation as it was due to an injury she had suffered that the match was called off, that leaves Sammii Jayne, The Queen of Catch. I'm still in the thought that Jayne is the favourite to win this one and be crowned the inaugural Discovery Wrestling Woman's Champion, will it be second time lucky? Tag Team Champions will also be crowned when four teams enter Uncivil War, a four-way elimination match where the last team standing will be crowned Discovery Wrestling's first Tag Team Champions. Let's take a look at the teams involved: Dave Conrad & Deviation | Defeated The Fabulous Bakewells To Qualify A bit of an odd-but-not-so-odd couple of two beasts in Dave Conrad and Deviation. They haven't teamed up often but have some surprising chemistry when they get going. Could fly under the radar in this and sneak an upset. The Buffet Club (Gene Munny & Uncle Bobby) | Defeated The Headbanders To Qualify The Buffet Club have been a staple in Discovery Wrestling for a long time, they've made some enemies along the way, including Polo Promotions who aren't in this match following The Buffet Club's intervention. If Jackie Polo and Mark Coffey are in Edinburgh, they might want to view the final themselves. Munny and 'Your Uncle Bobby' are an unorthodox team and it's that unpredictability that may follow them to being crowned Tag Team Champions. Kid Fite & Krieger | Defeated The House of Saynt To Qualify Originally due to the Fight Club, Liam Thomson could no longer compete and has been replaced by the debuting Krieger who is putting in an impressive body of work right now in Scotland. A graduate of the PBW Academy that Kid Fite owns, Fite will have had a hand in teaching Krieger everything he knows. Fite is wily, having been no stranger to tag team gold, this will be his playground to cause some havoc. The New Age Kliq (BT Gunn & Chris Renfrew) | Defeated The Kings of the North & Polo Promotions To qualify. Highly decorated, faced possibly the hardest fight to get into Uncivil War and aren't afraid to get down and dirty. Could say The New Age Kliq are a favourite heading into this one. Also on the card is a triple threat with some young talent including the debuting 'Turbo' Josh Terry, the returning Delsin Dayre and the high flying Lucha DS. A blink and you'll miss it match to round off a packed line up taking place at The Jam House. There are still tickets available as of writing and they can be found at shop.discoverywrestling.com. Matches Announced: Lewis Girvan vs El Ligero Michael Chase vs Christopher Saynt Triple Threat - Lucha DS vs Josh Terry vs Delsin Dayre Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational Final - Rampage Brown vs Aspen Faith Discovery Wrestling Woman’s Championship - Fatal Four Way - Sammii Jayne vs Session Moth Martina vs Lucy Cole vs Ayesha Raymond Discovery Wrestling Tag Team Championships - Uncivil War - Buffet Club (Gene Munny & Uncle Bobby) vs Dave Conrad & Deviation vs The New Age Kliq (BT Gunn & Chris Renfrew) vs Kid Fite & Krieger Discovery Wrestling Y Division Championship - Joe Coffey (c) vs Matt Riddle A big three year spectacular takes place on September 16th as Discovery Wrestling celebrates three years of amazing matches, colossal guests and bodyslams. A night that will see the inaugural Discovery Wrestling Women's Champion crowned as four wrestlers compete to make history. Special guests for this night include Ring of Honor star Dalton Castle, former UFC fighter Matt Riddle (who is making his return) and Lisa Marie Varon, the former Victoria in WWE and Tara in TNA, who will be presenting the winner of the Women's Championship match with the prize.
Let's look at the first match announced, the Women's Championship final, and break down the competitors: Women’s Championship Tournament Final – Four Way – Martina vs Sammii Jayne vs Nina Samuels vs Lucy Cole In a tournament that has featured four WWE Mae Young Competitors, Champions from all over the country and they were all vying to become the first Discovery Wrestling Women's Champion. The tournament got off to a rocky start with Candice LeRae, following her win over Viper to qualify, having to pull out of the tournament due to scheduling conflicts. Her replacement was decided after Martina defeated The Amazon Ayesha Raymond in a regular singles match that was deemed worthy of her place in the finals. We've seen Jayla Dark, Toni Storm and Debbie Sharpe also fall short on the way to the final four way match where it's really all to play for. Martina | defeated Ayesha Raymond to qualify* | *replaced Candice LeRae | The Wildcard Current OTT Women's Champion The Session Moth is a controversal figure in professional wrestling. Whether you think she's setting back women's wrestling by five years or taking the world by storm you never know what to expect from Martina. She'll be a wildcard in this one with her shenanigans throwing many of the competitors off their game. Sammii Jayne | defeated Toni Storm to qualify | The Favourite Current Pro Wrestling:EVE Champion Possibly the best wrestler in the match, Sammii has been with Discovery Wrestling since inception and has recently been putting on fantastic performances wherever she goes. The Queen of Catch is no stranger to holding championships and has all the ability and skill to tie up then punish anyone that tries to get in her way to becoming the first Discovery Wrestling Women's Champion. The favourite, in my opinion. Nina Samuels | defeated Debbie Sharpe to qualify | The Dark Horse Queen of the Buffet Club When Nina Samuels made her Discovery Wrestling debut, it was expected that she would be the same as her Buffet Club cohorts Uncle Bobby and Gene Munny, however, the Nina Samuels that entered was vicious, destructive and bullied Debbie Sharpe on her way to victory. If she gets into that zone again it may be a matter of time before she gains the title of Women's Champion. Lucy Cole | defeated Jayla Dark to qualify | The Underdog Current PCW Women's Champion The last to qualify, Lucy Cole has an uphill challenge if she's to win. One of the more inexperienced of the quartet, she will have to rely on her opponents not having a lot of footage to work from and devise a strategy to pick apart her opponents weaknesses. Cole has had some championship success though so not one to underestimate by any stretch but certainly looks to be the underdog in this one. Debbie Sharpe vs Ayesha Raymond Not only will a Women's Champion be crowned but the number one contender will also be decided. Two wrestlers that missed out on the final, Debbie Sharpe and Ayesha Raymond. Raymond was off competiting in the WWE Mae Young Classic but was knocked out in the first round. Knocking off Sharpe and heading to a title match might just be the remedy. Debbie hasn't had a lot of luck since turning on Sammii and breaking up the BAE Club, after being mauled by Samuels during the tournament it is time for her to get back on track. The House Of Saynt (Christopher Saynt, Theo Doros & Jayla Dark) vs Michael Chase, Lou King Sharp & ??? A long time coming, Michael Chase has been after The House of Saynt for a long time and now has the chance to break up the stable in Discovery Wrestling. In a stipulation that Christopher Saynt fell into, if he wins Michael Chase can no longer appear in Discovery Wrestling but if he loses then The Patriarch must face Chase on November 5th with his House on the line. With the added mystery on who will be joining Chase's side it could be a long night for The House of Saynt. Maybe it will be a figure from Jayla Dark's past coming back to haunt her… Dalton Castle vs Joe Hendry 'The Party Peacock' from Ring of Honor becomes the latest Ring of Honor star to make their way to Discovery Wrestling. He comes up against Joe Hendry, who returned to his hometown as a fan favourite and helped Joe Coffey earn another Y Division Championship opportunity. Will we see the Local Hero or The Prestegious One on this night? Castle had a small taste of the Edinburgh crowd at War of the Worlds but will coming up against the hometown boy have him on the backfoot from the get go? Uncivil War Qualifier – Triple Threat – Kings of the North (Damien Corvin & Bonesaw) vs The New Age Kliq (Chris Renfrew & BT Gunn) vs Polo Promotions (Jackie Polo & Mark Coffey) The final qualifer for Uncivil War as three top tag teams face off to join Buffet Club, Fight Club and the monstorous team of Dave Conrad & Deviation in the finals. Polo Promotions have had the number of Buffet Club for a number of months now and will like nothing better than to get another chance to get their hands on them. Kings of the North make their Discovery Wrestling debuts and already have a chance to get to the finals of Uncivil War and earn themselves the accolade of Discovery Wrestling Tag Team Champions. The New Age Kliq have only had one match as a team in Discovery Wrestling but it was an all out war with Raymond Rowe and Hanson of War Machine so they've already proven that they aren't afraid to get down and dirty in the capital. A lot of moving parts in this one with any team being heavy favourites to win Uncivil War. Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational Semi Final – Rampage Brown vs Mikey Whiplash As many have stated 'a main event in any company', two veterans who have seen and just about done it all in British wrestling. Two tough as nails wrestlers who will give every last breath to win. Whiplash is relatively new in Discovery Wrestling having debuted during this tournament, and defeating Matt Riddle, but Rampage was there from the beginning through his battles with Damo (Killian Dain) being the standout feud in the first year of Discovery Wrestling. Expect a bit of everything in this bout and there is no way to predict who will make it to the final. Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational Semi Final – Chris Ridgeway vs Aspen Faith In contrast with the other semi final, Ridgeway and Faith are two young guys that are sublime to watch wrestle. 'Smashmouth' Ridgeway has his hard kicks and speed whereas 'The King of Catch' likes to slow down the action and pick apart the body slowly and with precision. One of the many contenders for match of the night. The curious thing about this match is, if Aspen Faith wins and then comes out victorious in the final while Lewis Girvan remains Y Division Champion…what happens then? Y Division Championship – Lewis Girvan (c) vs Joe Coffey 'The Iron Man' Joe Coffey's journey to the Y Division Championship continues, both Coffey and Girvan have been the cornerstones of Discovery Wrestling since day one and it's only fitting on the three year anniversary that they do battle once again with the Y Division Championship on the line. As noted by Discovery Wrestling, 'The Best Wrestler In Discovery Wrestling' Lewis Girvan will have been Y Division Champion for 666 days when this event rolls round, so will that mark the end of Girvan's reign or will it just be the beginning of the Discovery takeover by the Kings of Catch? Matt Riddle vs ??? All this PLUS former UFC fighter Matt Riddle will return to Discovery Wrestling. Last time, in his debut, he was defeated by Mikey Whiplash in the Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational, The King of Bros won't be looking to repeat that result when he returns. Two Pre-Show Matches Those that have VIP tickets will also be treated to two pre-show mystery matches that won't be announced until seats have been taken. Tickets are still available at shop.discoverywrestling.com Announced Matches: Pre-Show - ??? vs ??? Pre-Show - ??? vs ??? Matt Riddle vs ??? Dalton Castle vs Joe Hendry The House Of Saynt (Christopher Saynt, Theo Doros & Jayla Dark) vs Michael Chase, Lou King Sharp & ??? Debbie Sharpe vs Ayesha Raymond Uncivil War Qualifier – Triple Threat – Kings of the North (Damien Corvin & Bonesaw) vs The New Age Kliq (Chris Renfrew & BT Gunn) vs Polo Promotions (Jackie Polo & Mark Coffey) Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational Semi Final – Rampage Brown vs Mikey Whiplash Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational Semi Final – Chris Ridgeway vs Aspen Faith Women’s Championship Tournament Final – Four Way – Lucy Cole vs Martina vs Nina Samuels vs Sammii Jayne Y Division Championship – Lewis Girvan (c) vs Joe Coffey |
