Fight Club returned for its biggest show to date in its short eight year history for the first of three nights of wrestling action which they called Fight Club: PRO Dream Tag Team Invitational. The company had throughout its existence primarily run smaller venues like the Fixxion, the Planet and a scout hut in Wolverhampton. So moving over the road to the 1,200 Diamond Banqueting Suite was a massive deal indeed for its owners Martin Zaki and Trent Seven but not just them of course as well its loyal fan base.
Having been a fan of Fight Club: PRO for the last 14 months I was eager to see this little promotion that could run a bigger venue especially one of this size. Would moving the show over the road from the Fixxion ruin the ambience of the interment setting these shows are set in? Would the dark and dingy (that makes sense as it's called Fight Club:PRO of course) look that is so appealing to fans of FC:P and myself be ruined in a bigger venue? In all honestly no I felt it did not and I was happy to see Fight Club be able to make the transition over the road from its home the Fixxion to the Diamond Banqueting Suite. I also have my fingers crossed FC:P run that venue again maybe next year for the DTTI 2. In all honestly It was very similar situation which PROGRESS faced in London last year when they ran outside of Electric Ballroom for the first time in two and a half years by doing a bigger show in Brixton at the O2 Academy and that show did not look out of place from a regular chapter show. Thankfully I was there along with BritWres review head honcho Darren Dyer to see the action unfold for ourselves that night in Wolverhampton. Now you're probably asking with such a big venue surely Fight Club: PRO would need a big match to fill the 1,200 seats and thankfully again they had just that as they booked British Strong Style (Pete Dunne, Trent Seven and WWE UK Champion Tyler Bate) to wrestle the incredibly popular (over) Elite (The Young Bucks and Mr six stars himself Kenny Omega). Essentially it was WWE vs NJPW. Well sort of. Not surprisingly the show sold out fairly quickly and caught the wrestling worlds attention with that match announcement. For the first time in it's history all eyes were on Wolverhampton for this historic show. So rather than me keep going on about it lets get right into the review. From here on out I'm not going to be relying just on memory of the show as I've got my hands on the DVD of the event so the review will mostly be from me sitting watching at home retrospective rather than as a live experience. Basically due to me not taking notes on the night due to me wanting to enjoy the show for its live experience but I will drop in a few notes from a live retrospective every now and then. On the night Trent Seven came out to cut a thank you promo to the crowd and had his usual banter with the punters in the crowd before we got into the action. On the DVD the opening is right into the action as we got a shot of the larger than normal crowd and Chris Brookes makes his way out to the ring for tonight's opener. Fatal Four Way Match: Chris Brookes/with Mondai Lykos Vs 'The Big O' Omari Vs 'Remorseless' Dan Maloney Vs Mark Haskins After the ring announcements Jimmy Havoc's music hits and the 'King of the Goths' makes his way out to the ring. Jimmy grabs a microphone and says how can Fight Club: PRO have its biggest show to date without Jimmy fucking Havoc and this is now a five way. This was actually not much of a surprise as Jimmy had been spotted earlier that day in Wolverhampton but the next surprise was a genuine surprise. Five Way Match: Jimmy Havoc Vs Chris Brookes/with Mondai Lykos Vs Omari Vs Dan Maloney Vs Mark Haskins After Havoc promo finished some familiar music hit as the First Female of Fight Club Nixon Newell made her way out to the ring and this was now a six way. Six Way Match: Nixon Newell Vs Jimmy Havoc Vs Chris Brookes/with Mondai Lykos Vs Omari Vs Remorseless Dan Maloney Vs Mark Haskins This was probably the best way to kick off a show like this for Fight Club: PRO as it was basically the six person cluster fuck that used to be so prominent with indy wrestling in mid-to-late noughties. Early on there was a nice exchange between Haskins and DAN Moloney that got sick when they enough spat on each other. Nixon Newell and Chris Brookes did some great call back spots to their near two year feud which went down well with longtime Fight Club: PRO fans and newer ones. Omari thankfully didn't look out of place. Yes he wasn't asked to do to much but what he did looked solid. Haskins was the first one to take to the sky's as he dived out onto first Havoc, then Moloney, then Brookes and Lykos and finally Omari. Nixon followed that up with an insane looking shooting star press out onto all the five men on the outside. Back in the ring Havoc and Haskins trapped Moloney and Brookes in a pair of sharpshooters respectively. Then they began exchanging elbow smashes with one another while they had the holds on Brookes and Moloney. Omari then came in a applied to two arm bars to Haskins and Havoc as they still had the holds on Brookes and Moloney. Nixon joined in the fun and jumped on Omari's back and locked the youngster in a sleeper hold. Meanwhile Brookes broke free and did his sickening wet willy spot to the First Female of Fight Club Nixon Newell. After lots of back and forth and everyone hitting kicks to the other, Haskins did his roll through Death Valley Driver to Havoc for a near fall. Brookes took out Haskins with a swinging neckbreaker. Nixon entered the fray and gave Brookes a reverse rana. Havoc came in and gave Brookes an Acid Rainmaker. He went for the same thing on Nixon but she countered and gave Jimmy a Canadian Destroyer. Omari came in and caught Nixon, who was going for a crossbody, and gave her his big move the O zone. Omari went for the same thing on Moloney but he countered with an electric chair into a powerbomb. Haskins was back and he gave Dan a big pump handle cradle Bomb. Omari was back in but he got caught in the sharpshooter by Haskins and Omari was forced to tap out. Logical outcome to this match as Haskins was going up against the Fight Club: PRO champion the next night in Manchester, whomever that would be after champion Travis Banks took on Will Ospreay on this show. Winner: Mark Haskins DTTI First Round Tournament Match: Los Gueros Del Cielo (Jack Evans & Angelico) Vs FSU (Eddie Dennis & Mark Andrews) This was the weakest match on the show in my opinion and that is underselling just how good this match was. It was simply due to the fact this show had so many good matches on it and that was why in my opinion it was the weakest of the bunch (sorry Eddie). It was highlighted by two balcony dives by Andrews and Angelico which really popped this crowd. There was a sweet near fall towards during the closing stages of this match as Jack missed his 630 splash and then walked into a reverse rana by Andrews. Eddie then drilled Jack with a reverse impaler DDT for the nearest of near falls. FSU then hoisted Jack up for the emerald flowison and that was all she wrote and FSU were through to the next round. Winners: FSU (Eddie Dennis & Mark Andrews) Triple Threat Match: Shane Strickland Vs Sami Callihan Vs Lio Rush This was a much better match to watch live than on dvd. It just felt like watching a very typical indy match from any other promotion. On the night I really enjoyed it but on DVD I didn't as much If im honest. Sami worked his socks off to keep this match from falling apart and kept the match from becoming a cluster. Say If sami wasn't there then and someone less experienced then I believe this match would have suffered. As good as Shane and Lio are, they still aren't good enough in my opinion to carry a coherent match without it falling apart. There was some sweet looking innovative spots early on which all lead to a ton of dives. Sami gave Lio a sick looking powerbomb on the apron as well. Back in the ring Sami nailed Shane with a tusion fusion for a nearfall. Lio came back into the match with a sick looking spin kick for a two count. Sami then gave shane a German onto Lio who was in the corner. All three men's strikes looked incredibly impressive late on in the match. No one throws a knee like Sami Callihan in my opinion and Lio does a hell of a back kick and Shane's wheel kick and headbutt strikes are damn near perfect at times. Lio hit a reverse rana and 450 splash for the near fall late on. Then shane nailed Lio with a jumping RKO and double foot stomp. Sami was back and he whipped out Shane with a GTS then a tombstone to Lio for the three count. Winner: Sami Callihan Fight Club: PRO Title Match: Travis Banks (Champion) Vs Will Ospreay To start out both men lock up and then get into a shoving match with one another. Will knocks the champ on his ass but the Banks is back up and applies a headlock. Will tosses Travis into the ropes and Travis rolls over will with a shoulder tackle. Will goes for an arm drag but Travis cartwheels out of it. Will gives Travis a headscissors take down and follows it up with a big dropkick sending Travis to the outside. Travis comes back in and mows down Will with the Daniel Bryan running knee smash. Travis works over Will in the corner with chops then will fires back with a running dropkick. On the outside the two trade strikes then Will does a head spring moonsault out onto Travis. The two trade strikes around ringside an on top of punters. Back in the ring Will covers Travis for a one count. Travis chops OSpreay back but then gets dropped with a double under hook DDT for a two count. Will begins to get some heat when he winds up some of the regulars at ringside then drops Banks with a corkscrew neck breaker. Will applies a chin lock but The Kiwi Buzzsaw eventually fights back. Ospreay cuts him off with a knee to the gut. Both men jockey for position in a suplex. 'The Aerial Assassin' then gets dropped with a big roundhouse kick by Travis who comes back with a number of elbow strikes and a cannonball to the challenger in the corner. Travis scores with a brain buster for the two count. Will comes back with his handspring spin kick and then works over Travis with some elbows of his own which gets big heat. The champion fires up but gets off and Will follows it up with a phenomenal forearm smash. Will goes for a Rainmaker but Travis no sells it and takes down Ospreay and begins to stomp on his head. Travis leaps up to the second rope and goes for the tridal kick but Will catches him in an Oscutter for a near fall. Will misses a moonsualt but not a standing shooting star and goes back up top for another attempt at a Moonsault but Travis catches him in a cross face this time. Will rolls out of it and drills Travis with a reverse rana (Yep another one but I have a feeling that won't be the last time I'll see that move this Easter or on this show in fact). Will goes for another Oscutter but Travis catches him and German suplexes the Aerial Assassin. Will is back up quickly and drills Banks with a German but he pops right back up and the two trade strikes with one another. A Big lariat and brain buster by Travis gets him a near fall on the challenger. Will crawls to the outside as Travis hits the ropes and dives out onto Will. Back in the ring Travis goes up top but Ospreay jumps up to the top rope and nails Travis with a damn fine looking Spanish fly for a near fall. Will goes up top and nails travis with a 450 splash for a nearfall. Will can't believe it and begins to kick at the champs head. Both men trade strikes again then both men jump up to the middle rope and come off in doing so Travis nails Will with a tridal kick (holy shit that spot ruled) and applies the crossface to Will and tries to teach the ropes but Travis blocks him. Will eventually counters but Travis hoists him up for the rarely seen these days spinning E. coli Bomb (I haven't seen anyone use that since the days of Swiss money holding). Travis gets a two count but goes straight into a crossface and the Aerial Assassin is forced to tap out. That was a great match. Both men flowed effortlessly from spot to spot and made it a pure joy to watch live and back on DVD. Honestly my blow for blow account can't do that match justice. So go and buy the DVD or Vimeo video now to check this match out now. Winner: Travis Banks (And Still Fight Club: PRO Champion) DTTI First Round Tournament Match: LDRS (Zack Sabre Jr & Marty Scurll) Vs The Hunter Brothers (Lee & Jim Hunter) It was actually before this match I expected it to be a intermission after a match of that high calibre and to be honest the crowd probably needed it. So I decided to rush to the bar as I was a little thirsty and got my two Corona's. I then quickly hit the streets of Wolverhampton like many others for a quick cigarette break and talked to some local Wolverhampton wrestling fans who were attending their first Fight Club: PRO show. After the quick chat, cigarette and drinking my beer I returned to found out the Hunters successfully putting away Marty and Zack to my surprise. Yeah I was a little annoyed by the fact that I had missed the match and the fact it was now time for intermission. But thankfully I've now seen the match back on DVD obviously and I can tell you this was actually quite a decent effort. I have to applaud Zack and Marty giving the rub to Midlands BritWres regulars in the Hunter Brothers. At the time I wondered why the Hunters were chosen to go over but then seeing Marty working OTT the next night it kind of made sense. The highlight before the match was Marty cutting a great heel promo by shooting on the fans and how shit England was compared to the States. Marty then calls it a squash match and tells Zack "let's beat these two and get out of here!" Then Marty and Zack did their best e&c tribute by offering to do a 5 second pose with all the gold belts they had with them (Marty holds the ROH world TV title and Zack is the current PWG, EVOLVE and Rev Pro champion) which got them quiet a bit of heat from this crowd. I heard someone shout on the DVD "fuck you Zack you fucking belt mark!" which made me laugh. Early on Zack and Marty did their best Bob Mortimer tributes by Rubbing there legs and acted like complete goofs in general but it was needed after a number of serious bouts. The Hunter's were unfortunately out classed here but the LDRS tried there best to make Jim and Lee look like a serious threat. After some solid action but nothing special Jim rolled up Zack out of nowhere and pinned him clean for the win. Afterwards the LDRS got very comical over their lose towards the crowd. Going as far as stealing someones walker as well referee joel allen. Which popped the crowd and this reviewer. Winners: The Hunter Brothers (Jim & Lee Hunter) Intermission This intermission was long very long in fact as it went well over an hour but it did give me the chance to have another two tasty cold beverages and hit the merch tables. After the show starting almost an hour late it was almost 11pm before the restart and after working a 12 hour night shift the previous night I was beginning to feel it to be honest with you. Brother Vs Brother Match: Fenix Vs Penta El Zero M For this match I have to be honest really wasn't up for it on the night and was starting to feel really rather tired. Maybe if the intermission wasn't so long I would have been more up for this match but alas it wasn't. Both men got rather decent reactions coming out. Which was no surprise considering there was a few Penta and Fenix shirts in the crowd. Early on both brothers go back and fourth hitting kicks, arm drags, small packages, topes and hurricanranas among many other lucha things which this crowd really eats up. On the outside the two brothers brawl around ringside with one another. Back in the ring Penta works over Fenix's knee which goes nowhere and doesn't have a impact on the finish whatsoever. Penta chops the shit out of Fenix's chest over and over. Fenix comes back with a rolling cutter for the two. Fenix and Penta trade elbow strikes and kicks in the middle of the ring. Penta then nails Fenix with a sling blade for a two count. Penta hits the canadian destroyer for a nearfall that no one believed would be the finish and why would they? This move is so over used these days and is just a set up spot. Fenix battles back with a superkick and a hurricanrana. Penta then catches his brother and drills him with a pump handle bomb for another near fall. Both brothers nail one another with a big kick and now both men are down. Both men get up and Fenix drills Penta with a reverse rana and another fucking Canadian Destroyer for, you guessed it, a nearfall. Penta and Fenix then battle on the ring apron and Penta whips out his brother with a package piledriver on the ring apron. After a few seconds Penta rolls his brother in the ring and covers him for another fucking two count! Hey remember when that was a finish as well? Penta the hits his brother with a superkick and a normal package piledriver for the three count. For fuck sake that match was fun but really pissed me off in places especially the ending. I'm still sticking to my guns that they did far too much and it was a bit unbelievable in places. The package piledriver on the apron spot should have been the finisher. Hell either one of the Canadian Destroyers could have been the finish. You could also argue when Fenix did the over used Canadian Destroyer and reverse rana spot that could have been the finish but these moves are so over used it has been become meaningless and ain't used properly in this reviewers opinion. It's just something that in modern wrestling that guys use too much and are killing once meaningful spots or finishers to send fans home happy. Anyway that's my gripe out of the way about modern wrestling and this match. I get it. The business evolves and moves on. So I'll just say I liked this match. Honest I really did watching it back on DVD, but not really on the night. But then that was because I was so tired and exhausted by this point. Winner: Penta El Zero M MAIN EVENT Six Man Tag: British Strong Style (Bruiserweight Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) Vs The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks Matt&Nick Jackson) British Strong Style get a standing ovation for obvious reasons and by GAWD they deserved it. They really are the hardest working guys in BritWres at the moment last year all three were three hard working guys who were considered good hands but now they've become stars thanks to their heel turn in PROGRESS, great matches in both PROGRESS and Fight Club: PRO as well as exposure on the award winning WWE Network. During their entrance they did the Triple H water spitting spot which this crowd and reviewer loves. The Elite got a good reaction especially Mr six stars Kenny Omega. Pete locks up with Matt and both work a arm bar as the crowd chant Kenny give us a wave and he doesn't. They then start the same chant for Tyler to give them a wave and after a few seconds he gives us a wave. Meanwhile Pete and matt continue to work the bar arm spot and the chant of kenny give us a wave starts up again and again Kenny ignores his fans. Matt then pokes Pete in the eyes and matt then gets clothes lined out his boots and gets given a suck it crotch chop by Pete. Trent comes in and matt tags his brother Nick. Nick holds up the "too sweet" but Trent whips him off the ropes and applies a headlock. Nick drops down onto his back as does a "suck it" crotch chop of his own which Trent seems puzzled by. They continue this for a few moments as the crowd eat it up. Nick then teases a superkick and tags in Kenny while Trent tags in Tyler. The crowd sing "Na na na na Tyler Bate" and then Tyler waves out to the crowd and then the crowd chant "Kenny give us a wave" and he finally musters up a shit wave to the crowd. The crowd continue to be hot chanting "fuck him up Tyler!" and "be Elite" while the two circle one another. The crowd goes mental with a test of strength spot. It's actually a testament to how over these two are to get a reaction like that for one of simplest spots in wrestling. After the test of strength both men go back and forth missing kicks and elbow drops then kenny grabs a microphone. Kenny takes a while to talk as the crowd chant for both teams. Well, that was what happened on the DVD. In actual fact Kenny and the Elite pretty much shot on British Strong Style's WWE contracts and said that they probably made more at the merch table today than those WWE deals pay. That was a brutal insult but probably all too real as well. Hence why I believe it got left off the DVD version of this show. Then all six men square up to one another as The Elite "too sweet" one another and then offer BSS a "too sweet". After considering it they give The Elite a trio of Pedigrees. The Elite roll to the outside and Pete then moonsaults out onto them from the second rope. Back in the ring Tyler gives Kenny a German suplex and then Trent is tagged in. Kenny drops Trent with a big European uppercut. Kenny tags the bucks who double team both Trent and Tyler. The Elite the do the Terminator dive spot out onto all of BSS. Kenny rolls Pete onto the ring and drops a Great Muta elbow drop onto Dunne. Nick is tagged in and he works over Pete to boos and chants of "fuck The Young Bucks". Kenny is back in and he chops Pete's chest over and over. Kenny then drives Pete into Matt and Nick's boots in the corner then the crowd chant for "four boots" and they do the spot again. This spot was perfect as The Elite did it every night of there mini UK tour and got the right reaction each and every time. It just goes to show you how good these guys are at working the crowd and getting the desired reaction. Kenny then teases a brain buster but Pete cuts him off with an elbow smash. All of The Elite do this spot with Pete. Then all three go for the move on BSS but they counter it as give The Elite the brain buster spot. Meanwhile Tyler gives Kenny an aeroplane spin and Matt a big swing at the same time. Tyler, Trent and Pete give Matt a vertical suplex by passing him from member to member. BSS do a bunch of quick tags while working over Matt. Tyler gives matt a sick looking European uppercut then Matt counters a back drop and tags in 'The Cleaner'. Omega nails Tyler and Trent with a running bulldog and then a pair of running elbow smashes. The Bucks come in and do some sick double team moves to BSS including a double stomp powerbomb combo move for a near fall. Then The Bucks nail Trent and Pete with superkicks. Kenny then drills all three members of BSS with a explosive quick release German suplex. Then The Elite have a disagreement and begin to slap one another (they also did this same spot in Rev pro and OTT) then out of nowhere Matt superkicks Pete for a near fall. All six men square up to one another and the Elite nail BSS with a superkick each but BSS no sell this and give their opponents the short punch each which rocks The Elite. Pete gets set to the outside and then Nick gives Trent a springboard face buster. Nick follows that up with a moonsault out onto the floor as Pete moves out of the way and then dives out onto Nick but along with Kenny they catch Pete and Nick hoists him up into the tombstone position. Kenny then does the same to Seven while Matt gets ready to dive but Tyler cuts him off. Meanwhile Trent and Pete reverse Kenny and Nick and Tyler then does a dive out onto all four and BSS drill Nick and Kenny with indytakers. Back in the ring Pete drills Nick with the Bitter End while Tyler nails him with a deadlift German for a near fall. Then the Bucks come back with a pair of superkicks. Nick dives right into an elbow smash by Pete. Matt comes in and superkicks Pete. Trent is in and he nails Matt with a short Gotch style piledriver. Kenny gives Trent a gut wrench powerbomb for a two which Tyler breaks it up by lifting up Kenny and drilling him with a German. Nick breaks up the pin attempt with a Swanton Bomb. Pete then nails Kenny and Nick with a number of superkicks but they don't go down. 'The Bruiserweight' gets caught and is back dropped into matt who holds Pete in a tombstone position and the Bucks do the indytaker to Pete. Kenny then grabs Pete who's upside down and still being held onto by matt and hoists Pete up onto his shoulders for the One Winged Angel for the one, two and three. This was a worthy main event in my opinion which the crowd and this reviewer were on the each of their seat to see. I must admit like everyone else at this show I marked out big time for the big spots, goofy comedy spots, the near falls and superkicks. Obviously I could moan about BBS not going over but I ain't because that was secondary on my mind to seeing how this match unfolded and the story it told. Winners: The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks Matt & Nick Jackson) Overall this was a tremendous show to watch back on DVD and see live and in person that day. It was a long old day but certainly worth it and a show I will never forget. Every match was actually good and I couldn't really moan. Maybe a few things like the overkill of once meaningful spots but hey, I didn't do that on the night. Seriously if you're sitting on fence about this show, go out of your way to see it and pay the cheap as chips £35 for all three nights on DVD from Fight Club: PRO's website now or even go to Vimeo and search Fight Club: PRO and pay £15 for the VOD of the show you won't be disappointed. Even if you're familiar with the product or unfamiliar with it you will love this show. Thanks again for reading my review and I'll finish as always by ripping off Bill Apter with see you at the matches. @Billy_Jay83 Part two and three coming next week

Fight Club:Pro was back for its double shot weekend following on from The Rise Against show the previous night with the First Female of Fight Club show featuring the huge FCP title match between challenger Travis Banks and champion 'Bruiserweight' Pete Dunne as well as Nixon Newell's final ever appearance for Fight Club: PRO as she faces PWG mainstay and the master of the Ballplex, Candice LaRae before she heads to WWE Performance Centre.
Another cold video graphic open from Fight Club: PRO, but I wouldn't have it any other way and it's right into the opening match. Four Way Match: David Starr Vs Killian Jacobs Vs Dan Moloney Vs Omari It's good to see FCP trainees Killian and Omari sharing the ring with two established indy names like Starr and Moloney. Both held their own in there and never looked out of place. Dan as usual had monster heat in the Fixxion with fans getting on him for his shitty little beard, gloves and boots and chanting that he is a wanker. Starr looked like a star here carrying himself like a star and selling convincingly for all three. Omari continues to impress me with his underdog babyface act as for Killian he looks like a solid performer but it will take time for him to grow on me. As per usual Dan Moloney was the star of the show in this match but surprisingly he didn't go over like I thought he would. David Starr went over clean pinning Killian Jacobs with a German bridging suplex for the win. Winner: David Starr Singles Interspecies Match: Session Moth Vs A stuffed Giraffe Up next session Moth took on the fcp mascot the tiny stuffed giraffe. After a few minutes of back and fourth intense action Kay Lee Ray interrupted the proceedings and said she'd like to make this a three way. Then Kay was pulled back through the curtain like a scene from a horror movie and began to scream as she was pulled into the abyss. Then some familiar anti fun music hit and out came Ray in her anti fun black shirt and 80s police glasses. Kay Lee had a new name as well as she was now known as Cuntstable (get it) Kay Lee Ray which made this reviewer giggle. Session Moth then screamed "What happened? You used to be sound". Announcer Matt then announced it was a triple threat Interspecies match. Triple threat Interspecies Match: Session Moth Vs Cuntstable Kay Lee Ray Vs A stuffed Giraffe As soon as the bell rang Cuntstable wrestled the gun Martina killed Damian Dunne with the previous evening and shot poor old referee Shay Puruser with it in the balls. Actually this was a rather silly but incredibly fun match as you would expect when it comes to the Anti-Fun gimmicks (can you tell I'm a big fan of the anti fun gimmick?) The stuffed giraffe was smart early on spending most of the time resting in the corner while Ray and Moth carried the action. I can't believe I just wrote that! Moth brought Shay back to life by pouring a beer down his throat. Session Moth then inserted the stuffed giraffe into her pants and then Moth then pulled out a "Johnny" (condom) as the crowd chanted "Johnny wrestling!" More lunacy followed as Ray frisked Shay and pulled out a joint out of the naughty 19 year olds pocket. Kay arrested Shay but Moth rolled up Kay for the nearest of nearfalls. The stuffed giraffe then gave Ray a neckbreaker and moth pinned the Cuntstable for the three. Afterwards Session Moth poured some larger down the Cuntstable throat and Kay Lee Ray was back. This was a hell of a lot of fun and really made this reviewer giggle. I do enjoy a good comedy match in between all this serious wrestling. As I've said before, its a good way to break up the card as wrestling in my opinion is better when there is variety to it. Winner: Session Moth Tag Team Match: #CCK (Chris Brooke's & Mondai Lykos) Vs Clint Margera and Jimmy Havoc Before the bell rings Lykos asks Jimmy and Clint who wants to get hardcore then and pulls out some baking trays for himself, Brookes, Margera and Havoc. Lykos then hits himself in the head and takes a tumble backwards to laughs. Then the bell rings and all four men brawl around ringside hitting one another with baking trays and frying pans. After all the brawling which went all over the Fixxion Warehouse Brookes and Lykos take control of the match working over Clint Margera. The crowd chant at Lykos that he is a "shit Power Ranger" and call him a "shit wolf". Brookes meanwhile is called a "cunt" while he gives Clint his wet willy spot. Clint makes his comeback and tags in Jimmy Havoc who drills both of Brookes and Lykos with a missile dropkick from the top rope. Jimmy nails Lykos with an Acid Rainmaker for a near fall but Brookes breaks it up. #CCK nail Clint with a pair of swinging DDT's for a near fall. Brookes then hoists Clint up on his back with a Gory Guerrero special position and Lykos leapfrogs to the top rope and comes off nailing Clint with neckbreaker. It looked sloppy and the near fall wasn't quete convincing due to it. Havoc flips off Lykos then goes for an Acid Rainmaker but Lykos blocks it not once but twice a third he isn't so lucky. Chris Brookes then runs in and rolls up Havoc with a handful of tights to pick up the win for his team. A very unspectacular match but it can be forgiven as Brookes worked a master class the previous night with Nixon. It was sloppy in places but this wasn't supposed to be anything blow away as it was just warm up before the next tag team match. Winners: #CCK (Chris Brookes and Kid Lykos) Singles Match: Mark Haskins Vs Will Ospreay After the ring introductions Mark and "ill are interrupted by Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate). To cut a long story short, Trent basically announces that Will vs Mark is off and this is now a tag team match. Tag Team Match: Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven &Tyler Bate) Vs Mark Haskins and Will Ospreay Haskins and Bate start out as both men grapple with one another. The crowd is hot for this one early on with chants of "let's go Tyler!" and "lets go Haskins". Both men break out their impressive looking ground work as Trent Seven shows off his fancy new boots. Both grab each other's legs then let go to a massive pop. This is the quiet before the storm I would assume. The crowd is super hot for this exchange. Then both men go for backslides and inside cradles for two counts. In come Ospreay and Seven and Seven applies a headlock. Will backs up Trent into the ropes while shouting here it comes. Will then fakes out Trent by pretending to hit him as Trent screams. Will then fucks up as he grabs Trent moustache. The crowd then chant "oh will fucking Ospreay and both will and Trent stand there in silence. The looks on each other faces was really something. It was priceless in fact. Will then applies a headlock as Trent over sells it and screams oh my fucking God please get off. Will then goes for his handspring headscissors and executes it but Trent Lands on his feet to the surprise of himself and the delight of the crowd. Will does his handspring flippy spot into the ropes and the people encourage Trent to do the same. Trent teases it and then out of nowhere nails will with a piledriver. It brings in Haskins an tyler who trade shots in the middle of ring. Will and mark then Fake dives to the outside then actually dive out onto tyler and Trent. Will and Haskins work over tyler as Haskins nails tyler with a powerslam and Ospreay follows it up with a standing moonsault. Haskins then gives tyler a number of big elbow smashes and follows it up with a number of knee drops for a two count. Will is tagged in and he applies a nasty looking octopus stretch. Tyler battle his way out but will tags in Haskins who nails tyler with a neckbreaker for the two count. Haskins applies a top wrist lock to tyler and pulls his fingers apart. Will and Haskins work over tyler in the corner but tyler makes his comeback but gets cut off with a knee strike and big kick to the back by will. Haskins and will go for a double Suplex on tyler but he counters and suplexes both will and Haskins and makes the much needed tag to his partner. Tent comes in and eats a double Superkick but he comes back with a double clotheslines to both Haskins and will. Trent then gives both Haskins and will a double back drop and cricket slap for a two count. Trent and tyler give will a double suplex for a two count then try to take out Haskins but he battle back and ties Trent in the tree of woe and German suplexes tyler into his partner. Haskins then drills tyler with a falcon arrow for a nearfall. Haskins and Trent exchange strikes in the middle of the ring and Trent nails him with a seven stars lariat. Will comes in and nearly suffers the same fate but back flips out of the seven stars and nails Trent with a spinning kick to the back of the head. The crowd begin to chant Wrestle house as all four men lay prone on the mat. Will, Tyler and Haskins get up and will gives tyler a reverse rana. Haskins goes for a German but tyler lands on his feet. Both men then exchange strikes in the middle of the ring. Haskins then nails Tyler with a dvd and will comes off the top with a shooting star for a nearfall which was just broken up by Trent. Will and trent now exchange strikes and then Trent and tyler give Ospreay a taste of his own giving him a cheeky nandos. Haskins comes in and puts a sharpshooter on tyler while will springs up onto the middle rope and nails Trent with a os cutter for the one, two and three. Afterwards all four men shook hands and celebrated as the crowd chanted fight club pro too end a damn fine match. That was a hell of a match. It wasn't quiet as good as the six man from the previous evening but this came pretty damn close. As per usual everything was solid from these four. One could argue these four are the best in the country right now at this car crash style of wrestling. Winners: Will Ospreay and Mark Haskins Womens Match: Candice LaRae Vs Nixon Newell After four years Nixon Newell's career in fight club pro is over. Technically it should have finished the previous night against her long time rival chris Brooke's but this was a perfect way to end her time there in match with super indy worker candice LaRae. Basically both ladies went out to steal the show and after the emotional ride the previous evening this was a great way to go out with a solid wrestling match. Nixon proved why she is one of the best women wrestlers not just on britian but the world today with this performance and who better to be in there with than candice. After some very serious grappling the two girls went to the outside and Nixon throw a drink onto candice which angered the american the two began to brawl on the outside. Candice then introduced the gummy bears and poured them all over the canvas. Both teased putting on the other onto the unforgiving gummy bears before Nixon sent candice to the outside and dived out onto candice but candice came back with a hauncanrana to Nixon off the ring apron to the floor. Candice then dived out onto Nixon and caught her with a swinging ddt. Back in the ring candice got a nearfall then dropped Nixon onto the gummy bears. Both girls went up top and candice gave Nixon a German from the top rope driving her onto the gummy bears. Both ladies then exchanged forearms with one another and they went back and fourth with Nixon giving candice a canadian destroyer onto the gummy bears but only got a one count. Nixon followed it up with another canadian destroyer to the gummy bears but this time got a nearfall. Candice then gave Nixon the ball plex but was unable to make the cover. Candice then nailed Nixon with a reverse rana and a shinning wizard for a nearfall. Nixon then battled back with a ball plex of her own and nailed candice with the shinning wizard to pick up the win. Afterwards Nixon grabbed the microphone as the crowd chanted thank you Nixon. Nixon thanked everyone and gave the tearful goodbye speech you would expect. Nixon also called out Kay Lee Ray who she really put over as her mentor which you could see meant a lot to kay Lee Ray for obvious reasons. She ended with "let's get fucking hammered as bewitched played over the PA system. Then Nixon, candice and Kay Lee Ray celebrated with a beer to end nixons time in fight club pro. Winner: Nixon Newell Main Event Fight Club:Pro Title Match: The Bruiserweight Pete Dunne (Champion) Vs The Kiwi Buzzsaw Travis Banks As travis makes his entrance PETER attacks Travis from behind and continues to beat down Travis by beating the hell out of him on the crowd. Pete then sets up two chairs in the ring and powerbomb Travis on top of the chairs as the crowd chant wanker at him. The bell then rings as the crowd rally behind Travis who gets up and unloads on Pete with forearms and then brain buster for a two count. Travis goes all out with strikes towards Dunne but PETER comes back with sit down power Bomb for a two count. The two go back and fourth one another then Travis nails PETER with a superkick and running knee strike for a nearfall. Travis then goes for a powerbomb but that naughty boy shay Purser holds stops the move for some reason and PETER rolls up Travis for the one, two and three. Winner: The Bruiserweight Pete Dunne (And Still fight club:pro champion) WTF a year long storyline brought to an end like that. Oh no not really obviously. The crowd look on stunned as does Travis as PETER leaves with the title. Travis then says he's cashing in his infinity tournament win and wants a rematch right now. Pete Dunne comes out and it's on. Second Main Event Fight Club:Pro Title Match: The Bruiserweight Pete Dunne (Champion) Vs Travis Banks Pete then attacks Travis with is infinity trophey and breaks it over Travis's back for a nearfall. Travis then rolls up PETER for a nearfall. Pete then nails Travis with the bitter end for another nearfall and PETER can't believe it. The crowd is solidly behind Travis chanting his name while calling PETER a cock among other things. Pete and Travis exchange strikes then Pete nails Travis with a German but Travis no sells it and pops right back up. Travis goes for big boot to PETER but PETER moves and Travis nails shay. Pete then accidently hits shay and shay is out cold now. Travis springs up to the middle rope and comes off with the tridal kick and cover PETER but shay is out as the crowd chant one, two, three. Travis looks gutted by this as the crowd chant joel but joel doesn't come out. Pete hooks up Travis into the bitter end for the nearest of nearfalls. Pete then goes to bite shay for not counting the three but Travis cuts him off and bites PETERS fingers. Travis then drills PETER with a brain buster falcon arrow for the one, two and no. As Chris Brooke's comes out with kid Lykos and they pull shay out of the ring. #CCK then take out shay. Back in the ring Travis sees this and dives out onto #CCK. Travis gets back into the ring and Pete nails him with a enzigiri. Pete covers Travis and out comes joel (better late than never I guess) and counts the one, two, no Travis just kicks out again. The crowd chant "fuck you Pete" Travis then gets up and rocks Pete with a forearm smash and a canadian destroyer for the one, (this is it surely), two but oh no Mr anti fun officer Damien Dunne and petes long lost sibling breaks up the count. Damien takes out joel and Travis to an amazing amount of heat. Suddenly the retired MK McKinnon comes out of the crowd and it looks as if for a second he has aligned with Pete and damien but no he superkicks the champ and attacks Damien. Mk then dives out onto Damien and #CCK. Now Travis has Pete all alone and nails him with a tridal Kick for the one, two no Pete just kicks out at two. Travis doesn't sweat it and floats over and applies a crossface and eventually PETER is forced to tap out. The roof is then blown off the Fixxion warehouse as Travis banks is your NEW fight club:pro champion. Afterwards Pete hugs Travis and hands over the fcp championship to the new champion as the crowd chant a worthy "you deserve it at banks as he celebrates. So after a year of build Travis banks is finally champion. The story theoughout 2016 was the fact Travis had lost all of his matches until he won the infinity tournament last year. It was some incredible booking and gained him some great sympathy as a underdog babyface who came back from the brink to become the champion. So you could argue it was a little over booked and I've got to admit I wasn't a fan of the restart at all I didn't fill it was warranted for such a big match but then you could argue with cheapness to it all it only added to the audiences overall appreciation for the and pay off to Travis banks story and title win. I loved the story to this match and the pay off it gave me but I wasn't overjoyed with the TNA level of overbooking as you argue it only cheapened Travis's big win. Winner: Travis Banks (And New Fight Club:Pro Champion) In finishing I've got to say as always I enjoyed this show and fill it was worth the six pound I paid for it on Vimeo. There was some Great wrestling espiecally the Moustache Mountain Vs Will Ospreay and Mark Haskins match as well as the Nixon Newell vs Candice LaRae and the comedy match between a stuffed Giraffe, The session moth and anti fun kay Lee Ray. I also for its faults enjoyed Pete Dunne vs Travis Banks and the four way opener. So is it worth it? Yes I would say for six pound you can't go wrong with this show as like all wrestling shows it had a great variety of matches to it. In closing I'd like to thank you for reading and I will see you at the matches as I'm at the next fight club pro show over Easter weekend as I will be in attendance for the Dream Tag Invitational shows in Wolverhampton on Easter Friday with kenny omega and the young bucks and the london show on Easter Sunday. @Billy_Jay83 After the rise against graphic shows up on screen The show opens with the Session Moth Martina dancing in the ring. Martina then hits the microphone and says she just came here to have some fun. Then out comes Anti-Fun Police member Chief Deputy Dunne who's clearly here to not have some fun! The crowd begin to chant "he has no fun on his dick as Damian has no fun on his tights which is over his dick. Damian then announces he is here to arrest Martina. 'Session Moth' seems to want to be crushed by Damian who claims Martina has some concealed weapons up there. Martina pulls out a cucumber from her trousers and a toy gun. Damian by now has had enough of all this fun and attacks Martina and a bell rings for are first contest of the evening.
Intergender Match: Session Moth Martina Vs Anti-Fun Police member Chief Deputy Dunne This was your typical comedy match which was a lot of fun (sorry Damian but it was). Early on Martina used her gun on Dunne and also Martina inserted her cucumber into Dunne's anus as well. After some more eye raising laughs including Dunne over selling of being shot in the penis and head. Martina refused to pin a dead Dunne and the match was called declaring Martina winner via homicide. Winner: Session Moth Martina Afterwards Trent Seven and Joel tended to the dead Dunne while Martina apologised. Joel told her off saying if you shoot someone in the head they genuinely tend to die! Triple Threat Match: David Starr Vs Dan Moloney Vs Clint Margera As you well know Triple threats matches can genuinely be a pain in the ass for workers to make interesting but here these did their damn hardest to make this entertaining. Early on as always the crowd gave Dan Moloney lots of shit, chanting for his "shitty little gloves", "shitty little boots", "shitty little beard" and also chanted that he had "shit stains on his pants". David Starr and Clint run with it checking his pants for these shit stains which Dan played up too obviously. After the silliness was out of the way all three men worked well with one another until the lights went out. Then suddenly the Undetaker's music played and out came Martina with a can of Guinness and the Fundertaker (Damiqn Dunne). Fundertaker was sporting some fancy black top, guy liner and purple pants. Clint and Dan went after Fundertaker but he just chokeslammed both of them. Starr attacked Fundertaker but he came back with old school. Fundertaker cut his throat and drilled Starr with a tombstone and got a two count as Starr just kicked out. Martina came into the ring and gave Fundertaker some Guinness and he then gave Starr a last ride and got the three. I don't know how Fundertaker could win this triple threat that he wasn't involved in but who really cares when that segment was so much fun! Winner: Fundertaker Afterwards Martina kissed Dunne and he came out of his trance and gave Martina an enzugiri to leave her laying. Singles Match: Kay Lee Ray Vs Candice LaRae It was time to get down to some serious wrestling. Well that was what I thought anyway. Early on these two worked over each other arms with a pair of arm bars but then Kay Lee Ray decided she had enough of all this serious wrestling and went to the bar. She grabbed a beer and returned to the ring. She took a swig for the working (Wo)Man and then got a reluctant Candice to take a swig. Then Kay Lee wanted to celebrate but Candice rolled her up. This lead to a bunch of false finishes as Kay Lee Ray tried to hold onto her beer without spilling it which she was able to pull off amazingly. Then Kay Lee Ray accidentally hit shay with her beer can and shay went down. Kay Lee Ray channelled her inner Eddie Guerrero and gave Candice the beer can and went down clutching her face. Meanwhile Candice handed the beer to a fan at ringside and then went down clutching her face. Shay got annoyed with the punter and threatened to kick him out as Kay Lee Ray went and told him off as well. Back in the ring Candice dived out onto Kay Lee Ray to resume the action. Kay Lee Ray came close to victory with a Koji clutch and Candice came close to victory with a DDT. Then it was back to the false finishes after that both of them passed out. Kay Lee Ray got a nearfall with a Gory Guerrero Special after both ladies had exchanged elbow strikes in the middle of the ring. Candice battled back with a reverse rana and then nailed Kay Lee Ray with a ballsplex for the three count. So Far this has been my favourite match on the card. Both ladies are two of my favourites on the indies and both worked really well with one another. This match is well worth anyone spending 15 minutes of their life checking out. Winner: Candice LaRae Tag Team Match: Black Coffee (Joe Coffey and Omari) Vs The Hunter Brothers (Jim&Lee Hunter) Jim and Lee got a welcome back chant early on as Jim was sidelined for the last few months with a knee injury. Early on all four men exchanged holds on the Mat to show off there wrestling skills. Then they stepped it up a gear as Joe Coffey came in and showed off his power with a pair of shoulder blocks to the brothers then he applied a pair of Boston Crabs to the brothers. Then Jim and Lee came back and got a two count on Joe with a big double back drop. Joe then gave both brothers a double underhook big swing and then did the Cesaro big swing to both brothers. Jim was so dazed by this he rolled up the referee joel and Joe counted three for him. Jim celebrated but Joe rolled him up for a near fall. Joe then ate a pair of superkicks from the brothers but eventually made the hot tag to Omari. Omari came into the ring like a house of fire nailing both Jim and Lee with his jumping roundhouse kick. Omari tagged out and Joe came in with a big back breaker to Lee for a two count. Omari came back in who did a perfectly fine looking back elbow smash to Jim for a two count. Jim nailed Omari with a chin breaker and tagged Lee. Omari tagged in Joe who unleashed some upper forearm smashes to Lee's jaw. Jim and Lee then over powered Joe together and nailed Joe with a double superkick. Joe then came back with chops to both the brothers at the same time then he did a big crossbody off the top and got a near fall. Omari came in and nailed Jim with a gut wrench but Lee blind tagged himself in and attacked Omari from behind and then did the RKO driving Omari back first into Jim's knees at the same time. Jim dived out onto Joe as Lee covered Omari for a near fall. Omari battled back and tagged in his hurt partner and Joe came in and nailed Lee with a spinning forearm smash. Then Omari got lost as he went to assist Joe with a German but veteran Joe just took over and German suplexed Lee for a nearfall. Then Omari suplexed Jim and Joe went to give Jim a rolling elbow smash but Jim ducked and Joe nailed poor old Omari. The hunter brothers recovered and nailed Joe with another double Superkick not once but twice. Then jim and Lee went up top and came crashing down on top of Joe with a quadruple foot stomp to pick up the victory. This was Omari big chance to step up onto the main show after being in the dark match portion of the previous shows in fight club:pro and you know what yet again he really impressed me here. He did his job well and put in a good shift and didn't need others to carry him to a good performance as he more than held his own in there with more established and polished workers from the BritWres scene. Yeah he got lost once but I ain't going to hold that against him. Overall this match was very solid both teams worked a treat together and I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch between these two down the line sometime. Winners: The Hunter Brothers (Jim&Lee Hunter) Afterwards Jim mentioned how he was wearing a stone cold knee brace so that called for a celebration of a beer in the ring. Irish World of Sport Rules Match: Mikey Whiplash Vs Jimmy Havoc It was announced by ring announcer Matt Taylor during the ring introductions this was now a Irish world of sport rules Match after Jimmy havoc bribed him with fiver. Which now meant that it was 5 x 3 minute rounds with two falls or a knockout to win the match with a twist as in between rounds wrestlers had to take a shot of Jack Daniels. Round 1: Early both men grapple for advantage of an arm bar. Whiplash gets a grapevind on Jimmy while havoc comes back with a head scissors. Both jockey for position in a headlock and that is the end of round 1. There is no shot glasses here as Jimmy and Mikey drink directly from a bottle of JD. Jimmy tried to get Shay to drink some JD but he seems repulsed by the smell of it but drinks it anyway then Matt gets in on it by taking a shot. Round 2: Jimmy gets Mikey down with an arm bar again both men jockey for position and Mikey takes control of Jimmy's arm. Jimmy counters with a snapmare but Whiplash holds onto the arm. Again a counter by Jimmy into a crucifix pin for a two count. Both men go back and fourth with pinning attempts but either man only gets a two. Jimmy asks Mikey to drink but Mikey slaps Jimmy hard. Then Matt Taylor announces this match is now no DQ. Round 3: Jimmy takes a swig and then low blows Mikey and gives him a small package to get the three. 1st pinfall victory goes to Jimmy Havoc. During the break Jimmy grabs a beer and takes a swig as Mikey screams at the audience. Mikey takes a swig of some JD and then Jimmy does. Again the crowd want Shay to take a shot and he does take a big swig to the pleasure of the crowd. Round 4: Jimmy gives a charging Mikey a drop toe hold into a chair for a two count. Jimmy then props the chair into the top and second ropes and drives Mikey head first into the chair for a near fall. Jimmy grabs the chair and drives it into Mikey's gut over and over again. Jimmy then sets up two chairs opposite one another giving Mikey enough time to recover and hit Jimmy with a DDT. Mikey removes the chairs to the outside but Jimmy dives out onto him. Jimmy rolls Mikey into the ring along with a chair and goes to nail Mikey with it but Mikey ducks and gives Jimmy a uppercut then Death Valley driver but it's the end of round 4 before Mikey can cover Jimmy. The crowd chant "shot" but Mikey doesn't seem ready for another shot. Jimmy recovers and swigs a punters beer while Mikey takes a sip of JD. Jimmy takes a swig of JD not once but twice. Jimmy seems pissed and spits out a little of JD into a punters hat. The crowd chant for the punter to put his hat on and does then the crowd chant you sick fuck as Jimmy calls him a fucking idiot. Jimmy grabs a microphone and calls Mikey a cunt. Round 5: the two trade punches in the middle of the ring while they call one another cunts. Mikey nails Jimmy with a lariat for a near fall. Mikey says Jimmy is a mark cunt who can only beat him with a chair. Jimmy low blows Mikey and nails him with a chair shot to the head to pick up the win. 2nd pinfall victory goes to Jimmy Havoc. Well that was currently different. it kind of reminded me of that drunken deathmatch involving Dean Ambrose/Jon Moxley many years ago. I enjoyed it a lot as it continued to tell the ongoing story of Jimmy havoc not being able to win a match without the aide of chairs etc. Winner: Jimmy Havoc Afterwards Mikey Whiplash threw up at ringside to the disgust of some girl who didn't seem to get out of the way quick enough. Intergender Match: Nixon Newell Vs Chris Brookes Nixon dances and sings her way out to the ring. When she gets into the ring Brooke's gets out but Nixon goes up top and dives out onto Brookes with a plancha. The two brawl around ringside were Brookes throws a chair into Nixon's head. Newell then gets back into the ring and dives out onto Brookes twice during the third dive Brookes stops Nixon by throwing a trash can into her head. Back on the outside both Nixon and Brook's beat each other up with the trash can. Nixon tosses Brookes back in but as she goes to get in the ring, Brookes cuts her off with a kick to the gut and puts the trash can over the top of Nixon's head. Brookes then kicks the can Brookes drops an elbow onto Nixon's back after trying to wet willy her. The crowd chant "stand up if you hate Chris Brookes" so Brooke's sits down then the crowd chant "sit down if you hate Chris Brookes" so he stands up. Brooke's then goes for the wet willy again but Nixon counters it and gives Brookes the wet willy. Tilt a whirl DDT by Nixon sends Brookes to the outside and Nixon goes to dive out onto Brooke's but he moves and she hits the wall head first. Nixon battles back with a superkick and hits Brookes with a Shinning Wizard. The two brawl through the crowd and then Nixon climbs up onto the top entrance door to the Fixxion and dives off onto Brookes with a crossbody. Nixon tosses Brookes into the ring and nails him with several running uppercuts. She then sends Brooke's into a chair propped up in the corner between the top and middle ropes. Nixon then puts Brookes' head through the back of the chair and nails him with a running knee smash for a near fall. A punter hands Nixon a chair as she goes to give Brookes a Piledriver through the chairs. Brookes counters it and body slams Nixon through the chair instead for a nearfall. Brookes goes to the back and returns with a staple gun and staples Nixon's shirt to her head. She pulls the shirt away and cracks Brookes with a skull crushing headbutt. Nixon then fires three staples into Brooke's arms and then staples some card to the side of his face. Nixon covers Brookes but he just kicks out. Nixon goes to the outside and brings some thumbtacks into the ring and pours out onto the canvas. Nixon and Chris battle back and fourth on the top rope then Chris bites Nixon on the head and suplexes her off the top onto the thumbtacks below for a nearfall. Both Nixon and Brookes trade slaps in the middle of the ring and then Nixon powerbombs Brookes onto the thumbtacks for another near fall. Nixon then counters Brookes Alabama Slam into a Canadian Destroyer into the tacks for another near fall. Nixon has a look of pure shock on her face. She then goes for a Shinning Wizard again but Brookes moves and superkicks Newell. Brookes follows it up with a twisting neckbreaker for a two count. Then he drives Nixon into the tacks with a Michinoku driver for another near fall. Nixon flips Brooke's the bird and he gives her a Canadian Destroyer onto the tacks for the one, two and three. Now that was how you finish a near two year feud. It was the kind of match every wrestler dreams he or she could have as it was a bona fide show stealer. Both Nixon and Chris should be proud of the art they crated inside that ring. Yes I've been critical of people using finishers as set ups for other moves in the past but in a big feud ending match like this you can understand why they did so many big spots and bumps. This is by far my favourite BritWres match this year so far and I would be surprised if anything else was able to top this epic encounter this year. I would give this match a full 5 stars for the emotion it made me feel and for the amount of silly noises I made during it. Yes I was marking out and for good reason. This match was incredible and the story it told was also incredible. Winner: Chris Brooke's Afterwards the crowd gives both Brookes and Nixon a standing ovation which is richly deserved. Brookes talks about there history as rivals from wrestling in front of 7 people to wrestling here today. Brookes put over Newell with tears in his eyes and says she had gone all over the world from Japan, Germany representing Fight Club: PRO. He then thanks her and wishes her the best and adds how proud everyone is of her. The two long time rivals then hug and Brookes leaves handing the ring over to Nixon who is also crying now. The crowd can't thank Nixon enough as she goes off singing and dancing to B*Witched and this reviewer has a tear in his eye. Main Event: British Strong Style (Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) Vs Travis Banks, Wolfgang and Will Ospreay Once Pete, Trent and Tyler are in the ring they all do crotch chops for some reason I can't think who made them famous. Also then during their ring introductions British Strong Style get on the ring apron and spit some water into the air. Again i can't remember who made that famous. Maybe you could send your answers on a post card to titan towers and tell me? Pete teases starting out with Travis who gets right up into his face but Pete bails and tags in Trent. Trent and Travis start out trading chops with one another. Both men miss wheel kicks but Trent chops Travis low. Very low infact. Travis tags in Wolfgang while Trent tags in Pete. Wolfgang and Pete trade chops and then Wolfgang goes for a military press but Pete counters it and begins to bite on Wolfgang's fingers. Wolfie comes back with a falcon arrow and Pete bails out and tags in Tyler while Wolfgang tags Ospreay. Will says "Well look a this! We've got New Japan vs WWE!" Both men work a headlock then Tyler shoulder blocks Will, but Will pops right back up. Ospreay and Bate go back and forth countering moves while running off the ropes then both men end up doing somersaults off the ropes and posing as the crowd comes unglued. Pete comes in and Travis cuts him off and it all breaks down into a massive walking brawl between everyone. All six men trade chops on the outside then Pete and Trent corner Travis and give him kick in. Pete then choked out Travis with a t-shirt. The Kiwi Buzzsaw battled back with some kicks and chops. Meanwhile Wolfgang and Trent best one another up over the other side of the building. Will and Tyler are also battling off to the side of the building. British Strong Style then grab chairs and throw them at Travis, Wolfgang and Will but they shake it off and keep coming after them. Back in the ring Pete goes for a Mexican surfboard but Ospreay stops him applying it and gets hold of Pete's chin and chinlocks him. Meanwhile Travis still has his leg tangled up with Pete's but in comes Tyler who applies a crossface to the trapped Travis Banks. Trent looks to get involved but can't find a spot so just poses. Wolfgang comes and breaks the hold by powerbombing Trent onto Travis, Will, Tyler and Pete. Tyler gives Travis an aeroplane spin then Pete flies off the top, driving a knee into Travis who is still up on Tyler's shoulders. Tyler then dumps Travis onto Trent knees. Pete works over Travis then bites his ear but Travis comes back with a forearm smash. Trent is tagged in and he mounts Travis and beats him down. Tyler is in now and he works over Travis with a Suplex and a dead lift German suplex. Pete is back in as he stretches Travis and pulls his fingers apart. Pete does an Indian Death Lock to Travis but Will breaks it up. Tyler is tagged in and he backs up Travis into British Strong Style's corner. There is a number of quick tags between the three who continue to work over Travis eventually he battles back, downing Pete with a tridal kick. Wolfgang is tagged and he clears house. Wolfgang then does a Swanton Bomb onto Pete, but Tyler breaks it up. Tyler comes in and he tries to suplex Wolfgang but he's too heavy and counters with one of his own but Trent stops Tyler from taking the bump and they end up giving Wolfie a double suplex. Will is in and he does a slice bread number two to Tyler and standing shooting star for a near fall. Pete goes for Bitter End but Ospreay counters it into a small package for a two count. Xplex sit down powerbomb by Pete onto Ospreay gets him a two count. Travis is in and he nails Pete over and over again with forearm smashes. Pete comes back and applies a Boston Crab to both Wolfgang and Travis banks at the same time. Now British strong style have Travis all to themselves and they all take turns beating on him but Travis fires back up and beats down the BSS unit by himself with elbow and forearm smashes. He then does a Coast-to-Coast or Van Terminator to Pete. Ospreay and Wolfgang are back now and Ospreay does a 450 to Tyler and Wolfgang follows it up with a moonsault for a near fall. Then all six men nail one another with a version of a kick. Ospreay goes for a Os Cutter however Trent holds onto Osprey and gives him the Seven Stars Rainmaker but Ospreay no sells it. Tyler and Pete then try to double team Ospreay but he ends up giving them a reverse rana. The Fixxion comes unglued with chants of "we love you Fight Club, we do! Oh fight club we love you!" All six men battle it out with one another and Tyler gives Will a powerbomb onto Pete and Travis. Now all six men are exhausted and trading forearms on their knees. All six get up and BSS bite Travis, Will and Wolfgang's fingers. Trent then drills Wolfgang with a Pedigree while Tyler does the same to Travis but Ospreay counters the one Pete was trying to do to him into a hurricanrana for a near fall. Trent and Tyler miss their short punches to Ospreay and hit one another. Then Ospreay hits the ropes and does a somersault spin kick into Trent and Pete Dunne. Tyler recovers and goes for a dead lift German but Will lands on his feet and somersaults out over the top rope out onto Trent and Pete on the outside. Ospreay does his pip pip cheerio elbow smash onto Tyler then goes to dive out onto Trent but Trent catches him in a tombstone position. Tyler then dives out of the ring and he assists Trent with the Indy Taker, drilling Will headfirst into the concrete floor. Holy shit this match is insane! Travis dives out onto BSS over and over again. Wolfgang then does a cannonball dive out on top of everyone. Back in the ring Wolfgang covers Pete for a near fall. Trent goes and gives Wolfgang a short piledriver off the top rope. Will then does his spiral tap Onto Trent. Tyler grabs Will and gives him the Tyler driver 97. Banks gives Tyler a super kick then goes for a tridal kick but as he turns in mid air Pete Dunne is there to meet him with a elbow smash and Pete KO's Travis. Pete covers Travis for the one, two and three and it brings an end to the most insane six man since Will Ospreay teamed with Ryan Smile and Shane Strickland to face Marty Scurll, Pete Dunne and Travis Banks in Rev Pro earlier this year. Winner: British Strong Style (Pete Dunne, Trent Seven and Tyler Bate) Much like the Rev Pro six and PWG six man last year this was pure insanity. Someone please show Dave this match he will love it! Anyway it wasn't my match of night as that honour went to Brookes vs Newell as that paid off a near two year storyline between the two. But this match was Insanity! A spot fest of the highest order and perfect way to follow Newell vs Brooke's and perfect way to end the show. Overall this show was another bonafide great show by Fight Club: PRO. How does this promotion keep topping its shows each and every month? It's beyond me. If you haven't been to Wolverhampton yet for an FCP show then what is wrong with you? You need to go now. Just go now will you already? If You can't make the shows then go to Vimeo already and buy this show! It's a steal for £6. JEEZUZ what are you waiting for do it already. In closing I'll say thanks for reading my review and I won't finish this review like I normally do. Nope I'm ending by saying just do yourself a favour and go to Vimeo now and watch this show. What are you waiting for go already! @Billy_Jay83 So I finally made the trip to Wolverhampton to see fight club: pro live and in person and as you will find out it was quiet a day for me in the Midlands. After working a 12 hour night shift I boarded my train to Birmingham in high spirits and arrived in Wolverhampton in high spirits looking forward to another night at the Graps. I arrived to Fixxion warehouse around 6pm and was quiet amazed that this building was in a darkened aisleway beside a multi storey car park. I found this some what bizarre but I knew I was in the right place when I see a bunch of fans wearing fight club pro shirts. Boy it was cold that night but after waiting 35 minutes the door opened and we got in. I can't say the building left much of an impression on me when I got inside. It was colder inside an outside so I kept my two hoodies and beanie hat on. Thankfully after a few matches in a few jd and cokes I was quiet toasty but if you watch the VOD when it's added to Vimeo you'll be able to see me looking chuffed to bits I was in the Fixxion warehouse after hearing so much about it. Trent seven came out before the show started and cracked some jokes with regulars. The best joke was that Trent was wearing a fancy leather jacket and someone said did you buy that with your first wwe pay cheque to which Trent said all of it went on this jacket mate. Trent then said he'd like to address some rumours circling the Internet and took off his jacket and he was wearing a wwe shirt. The fans and myself chanted you deserve it and he currently does in my opinion. Trent also asked everyone to pull out there phones and go to the fight club pro Twitter and up there was the announcement that the elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) would face british strong style (Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) at the fight club pro triple header. Trent then brought out Tonights special guest who would be at the bar throughout the night (we'll sort of) OTT and ICW ladies character the Session Moth Martina (if you don't know who this is i would suggest you go to google and find out all about her). Session came out with a beer in hand and cigarette in the other and proceeded to sit on my lap and say to me I think I'll stay here all night. I didn't know what to say as oli saddler (ringside perspective camera man) took a snap. I did the old mick foley pose of one thumbs up and hopefully they add it up onto there facebook page even if I looked like a right bell end. Then the show started with a dark match and we were in for quiet a dark match.
Fight Club: Pro All The Best February 10th Fixxion Warehouse Wolverhampton Dark Match Omari Vs Adam Cage Vs Killian Jacobs I was rather critical of Omari in my last review but then I hadn't seen much of him but here and with me being there live he came across to this audience as a star. Omari, Cage and Jacobs had a well received dark match where all three put in a fine performance. Cage may have been a bit green but he did his spots well and bumped like a boss for his operants. Jacobs does a nice looking 450 and that was all he really did here as this match was all about making Omari look strong who went over with his reverse book end in a perfectly acceptable opener which wouldn't have looked out of place on the main card. Winner: Omari Fight Club: Pro Title Match Pete Dunne (Champion) Vs Joe Coffey It kind of surprised me we got this match to open the show proper but it was a blistering match an both men delivered in a fine outing. Both men knocked ten lumps out of one another with some stiff looking fore arm shots which Misawa and Kawada would have been proud of. Pete and Coffey brawled all over the Fixxion warehouse as well doing some insane dives which myself and the crowd ate up in this match. Coffey got the nearest of near falls with a top rope brain buster. At one point I genuinely thought Joe was going over and reacted accordingly after Joe nailed Dunne with a lariat. I haven't been one of Joe coffeys biggest supporters I've seen him have two good matches with Rampage and Angle but here he came across as a star and know finally see what a lot of people see in him. The finish saw Dunne nail Coffey with his bitter end but Coffey kicked out to the amazement of Dunne. Dun ether applied a heel hook and Coffey tried to fight out of it but just couldn't and was forced to tap. Winner: Pete Dunne Nixon Newell and Kay Lee Ray Vs #CCK (Kid Lykos and Chris Brooke's) This match was my match of the night and I would assume it was a lot of other people's favourite match too as the crowd and myself were red hot for the action in this one. Newell, Ray, Lykos and Brooke's were on a mission here to have match of the night and they currently did that. Newell and Ray did a pair of dives early on to Lykos in my row again and then beat the holy hell out of one another on the floor in front of me and I'm sure you'll be able to see me on the VOD marking out over this one. Brooke's and Lykos got the heat on Ray and effectively double teamed her. Brooke's did his sickening wet willy spot which is just revolting and im sure it's not to nice to take either. The crowd was more than ready for the hot tag when it was made to Nixon and this was when they stepped it up to 110 mph. Newell took out both Brooke's and Lykos with a pair of huancanrana's and some spring board ddt's. She dived out onto Lykos and Brooke's came out and put the boots to Newell. Ray got up and after selling her beat down and dives out onto all three on the outside. Back in the ring Newell was hoisted up onto rays shoulders while Brooke's hoisted Lykos up onto his shoulders and Newell and Lykos duked IT out in a game of (find out name). The finish saw Newell nail Brooke's with a reverse huancanrana and then Newell did a shinning wizard off of KRL shoulders to Lykos to pick up the win. Winners: Nixon Newell and Kay Lee Ray Afterwards Newell began to swell up (i guess the rumours are true) and she said she was going to miss us guys. Brooke's hit the ring the two feuded throughout the year in 2016 in fight club pro and it seemed if the two would bury the hachet but Brooke's decided to deck Newell after giving her a cuddle to leave her laying. Jimmy Havoc then arrived and it seemed as if he was about to kick Brooke's ass but Mikey Whiplash jumped Havoc and match number three was underway. Jimmy Havoc Vs Mikey Whiplash You got you wanted out of this one as both men basically brawled for ten plus minutes and it went all over the building. This was a good match to see live but it really wasn't anything special to be honest apart from whiplash whipping havoc into my section of chairs and then my chair broke. Havoc battled back and used the leg of my chair to stick it into whiplash were the sun does not shine. The finish saw havoc hit whiplash with a acid rainmaker to pick up the win. Winner: Jimmy Havoc Afterwards whiplash was hot that havoc had turned there match into a brawl and then began to call himself and Jimmy the c word. Whiplash then began to run down the crowd especially the female audience who he claimed where only here for one thing and that was the wrestlers dicks. Havoc was stood there listening with a beer in hand as whiplash began to tear into the audience. Anyway it all lead to whiplash challenging havoc to a world of sport rules match which havoc accepted. Dan Moloney Vs Andrew Everett The man who had seen many things Dan Moloney was out after the interval as he wrestled a mystery challenger who turned out to be TNA wrestler Andrew Everett. This match was ok but again it wasn't anything special and you knew dan was going over as he was the home grown star and Everett was the visiting american. The highlight of the match saw Everett go up top and point to the ceiling as to say don't let me hit you please not with my knees, as he did his shooting star press. Anyway after not too much happened the two traded near falls back and fourth dan nailed Everett with a pinfall for the one, two and three. Winner: Dan Moloney Clint Margera Vs Eddie Kingston One of the few matches fight club pro announced ahead of time and I was kind of looking forward yo it's. Eddie received a decent reaction at the beginning but then went heel on the crowd as he praised TNA and buried Margera, his girlfriend and the wwe network (I found kingston to be a lot of fun in this match espiecally with his banter aimed at the crowd and margera). They delivered what I expected these two to do actually as both men had a walking brawl all over the Fixxion. Both men chopped the crap out of one another towards the end which was a nice exchange and they did hit one another hard. The finish saw eddie introduce a bunch of chairs and pile them on top of one another then the two went up to the top rope and margera gave kingston a Death Valley driver from the top rope down onto the pile of chairs to pick up the win. Winner: Clint Margera We had another break and were told to wait around because we wouldn't want to miss this main event after 15 or 20 minutes it was time for the main event. Four Way Mark Haskins Vs Tyler Bate Vs Travis Banks Vs Trent Seven This was another really good match and I hope it gets uploaded to Vimeo with the rest of the show but with the rumour being out there wwe contracted wrestlers can't appear on Vimeo it wouldn't surprise me if you or I got to see this match again. Anyway all four men were incredibly over espiecally tyler bate who got a standing ovation from the Fixxion crowd. It was great to see Mark Haskins back in FCP and back on the Brit Wres scene in fact and he was another surprise to see in this match. Early on Haskins was on fire he moved from one spot to the other like a whippet and seems to not have lost a beat since his return from a "career ending" neck injury three months back. Seven was so much fun here making me crack up with his facial expressions and over the top selling. Travis fcp top babyface was made to shine throughout and didn't get lost in the shuffle here but I do find it quzzling he didn't actually go over here as the story in fcp the last year has all been about him trying to win. Yes he succeed in December by winning the infinity tournament but still I thought he'd be going over to give him as much momentum as possible going into his big title match with Pete Dunne whenever that is. But then tyler is the hero of Brit Wres at the moment thanks to his big wwe UK title win last month. Tyler picked up the victory over Trent with his double under arm sit down powerbomb. Winner: Tyler Bate Afterwards all four men showed one another respect and celebrated in the ring then tyler, Haskins and seven left the ringside area as Travis continued to sell the effects of the match. Suddenly Pete Dunne hit the ring and nailed Travis with the bitter end not once but twice. Pete grabbed the microphone and said Travis wasn't number contender martial as he had only won two matches in fight club pro history. Pete then said if Travis was a worthy number one contender he'd face him right now and if Travis beat him he would give Travis a title shot in the future. Travis nodded his head and the bell rang. Pete went to nail Travis with another bitter end but Travis countered it and leapt up to the middle rope and nailed Pete with a tridal kick for the one, two and three. Yep that's right Travis banks the man who has won two matches in fight club pro history beat Pete Dunne the fight club pro champion in less than 30 seconds. To end the show Travis celebrated as the crowd and myself roared in delight. Overall this show was a tremendous way to kick off 2017 for fight club after doing a joint show with Attack the previous month which was another quality show they really seem to have a lot of steam going Into its next show in 4 weeks time. Obviously you may think because I was there live my opinion my to altered if I had seen it on VOD. Yeah it maybe but you need to go out of your way to see this show once it's on Vimeo as it really was that good. @Billy_Jay83 Fight Club: Pro and ATTACK! Pro Wrestling announced this special show just before Christmas and I must Say I was excited to be checking out ATTACK! for the first time ever. I had heard good things about their 'Under The Mistletour' shows and 'Not Another PPV Tie In Event' show, so was looking forward to checking this out. What they could add to Fight Club: Pro which I've been following avidly now since last year?
Up first to open the show was the team of Mondai Lykos (who I had only heard about on Twitter and from other people at BritWres shows) and Chris Brookes who I'm familiar with due to seeing him wrestle regularly on Fight Club: Pro shows, and live and in person at the Fight Club: Pro promoted Chikara show in London last May. Their team is collectively known as #CCK who go up against two people I'm very familiar with in Ryan Smile and Mark Andrews, both of whom I've both seen wrestle live and in person for PROGRESS and Rev Pro in 2016. The opener was actually perfect start as the crowd was hot for this match and for good reason. All four men went out of their way to give the crowd something really good to open the show. There was some fine looking double team, innovative offence from #CCK. Ryan Smile and Mark Andrews also gave the crowd and myself something to cheer for early on with some fine double team moves of their own. What I liked most about this match was the hot tag. The crowd seemed piping hot by the time the ultimate underdog Andrews tagged in his partner Smile. Smile, who I see a bright future for, was like a house on fire clearing out both Brookes and Lykos with a spring board cutter. He then did a Ricochet like dive out onto Lykos and Brookes. Smile rolled Lykos back into the ring and Andrews went up stairs to do his Shooting Star Press, but referee Shay Purser (who is a heel referee for those of you who don't follow ATTACK) refused to let White Lighting fly which got huge heat from this crowd. Brookes saw his advantage and pushed the referee into Andrews, but Andrews jumped down off the top but Brooke's rolled him up for the one, two and three. So it's not just wwe who do that finish? In all seriousness this was a great opener and I was hopeful we would be getting more of this throughout the rest of the show. Up next Killian Jacobs took on Splits McPins. Immediately I'm very unfamiliar with these two but could work out that Splits McPins has a bowling gimmick obviously. Splits came to the ring wearing a green mask, bowling attire and carrying a pink ball (so he's very committed to the bit and so he should be). Jacobs on the other hand early on left no impression on me as of his entrance anyway. As the match got going I was digging more of Splits' stuff as I do like a bit of comedy in wrestling. Early on splits threw his bowling ball onto Jacobs as Splits stood up on the middle rope which made this reviewer laugh anyway. The two then began to get serious and exchanged some neat looking strikes back and forth at one another. Unfortunately, during the closing stages both men got sloppy especially Jacobs who lost his balance during a spring board to the top rope. The finish saw Jacobs miss a 450 Splash which gave Splits time to recover and nail Jacobs with an MK Ultra for the one, two and three. All in all it was an fun match, it was a good come down from the insane opener and I don't mind a bit of comedy to break up the card when I'm watching a wrestling show and trust me we weren't done with the comedy yet! Up next was Drew Parker who's storyline I've only heard about on Twitter but fell in love with it when I heard what his gimmick was. Basically Drew got dropped on his head and now thinks he's in ECW and goes by the name of EC-Drew (which is just tremendous as I was a huge ECW mark back in the day). During the last 6 months I've heard he's portrayed ECW gimmicks such as The Sandman, Rob Van Dam and Taz and is now doing the Raven gimmick. Drew who is ATTACK's 24/7 champion cuts a short but sweet promo before his match and basically says he's going to be defending his title tonight but against who? Then some familiar music hits and it's Clint Margera as Tommy Dreamer! This was a fun little tribute match to the two and a half year feud between Raven and Dreamer. It featured a number of spots seen during both men's matches in ECW. It had a walking brawl, keyboard shots, tray shots to the head, a drop toe hold onto a chair, a staple gun spot (which I don't remember Dreamer or Raven ever using but it's all good and I'll roll with it) and a table spot, we'll sort of as it was a piece of ply wood propped on top of two chairs. Actually the spot where Drew did a Swanton from the top rope through the table on the outside looked like a hideous bump to take. Anyway after all the plunder was done, Clint Ma-Dreamer gave Drew a Spicolli Driver onto some drawing pins (or thumbtacks to our American readers) and got the one, two and three for the win and Clint is the new ATTACK! 24/7 Champion. Then heel referee Shay Purser decides to take away all of Dreamer's...sorry I mean Margera's glory by low blowing him. Then Shay rolls him up for the quick three count and the title changes hands for a second time tonight. This all seems far too familiar for my liking! Poor old Clint he's just like Tommy! Chief Deputy (Damien) Dunne from the Anti-Fun Police comes out and tries to cut a promo but is loudly drained out by the crowd chanting "FUN!". Dunne insults Wolverhampton like any cheap heat seeking heel would do and he then calls out the man he's facing and it's Omari. Unfortunately this reviewer hadn't heard of Omari or seen an Omari match, but let's see what this guy is all about and clearly he likes fun so he's all good in my book! This match was nothing special. In fact in this reviewers opinion, it was painfully average at best. During some points the two got sloppy but then it was bound to happen as Omari hasn't been around long. He has only worked for Kamikaze Pro according to Google. Also he doesn't seem to have a Cagematch profile, so trying to find information on this guy on Google is a nightmare due to the fact WWE had a Malik Omari in its developmental system a few years back. So if you Google Omari, you get Malik instead of Omari. Confused yet? Because I am! Anyway Omari is green as he's not been wrestling that long but Dunne carried him to a competent match and put the youngster over as well. At least that was fun, we'll sort of. Up next was the main event as Dan Moloney and his shitty little boots teamed with the Fight Club: Pro champion 'The Bruiserweight' Pete Dunne to take on Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven). This was actually a cracking match featuring a combination of stiff looking strikes, neat near falls, big dives and some great looking power moves. There wasn't much of a story to the match (until the end anyway) but that didn't matter. I can appreciate both a spotty match as well as a storyline driven match. Tyler looked impressive here and one spot that stood out was when he decided to hoist Pete up onto his shoulders while giving Dan a big swing. Yeah he's done that spot before but it looked great here in my opinion. The ending though sort of came out of nowhere and involved a boat load of shenanigans as well, but those shenanigans would play into the story of the show and set something else up. Basically Moustache Mountain had Moloney done for but Shay decided not to count the three. This upset Trent and Tyler but they got attacked by Pete and Dan. Then Joel Allen (the famous Afro referee from 1PW) and regular FC:P official ran down as Mountain regained advantage over Pete and Dan. Again it looked like a current three count but Shay was back and he bit Joel which Joel totally over sold. Mountain had Shay cornered but Pete came in and rolled up Tyler for the one, two and three. Dan Moloney and Pete Dunne were smart enough to retreat to the back but Shay wasn't and then mountain and Joel had Shay cornered. Again Shay was saved, this time by #CCK (Mondai Lykos and Chris Brookes). Joel then cut an impassioned promo and basically made a match where he would team with Trent and Tyler to face the trio of Brookes, Lykos and Shay. Chris Brookes then pointed out there was only two officials in the building but that didn't matter as Trent made a ringsider and regular fan Warren the referee for the match and he called for the bell. Now it's on and all six men begin to brawl around the building. The highlight of this portion of the main event is Joel unleashing on Lykos, Brookes and Purser like a mad man. Then the trio of Bate, Seven and Allen unleash a trio of chokeslams to Shay, Brooke's and Lykos for a trio of near falls. Joel and Shay share the ring alone at one point and the crowd comes unglued, but again Shay is saved by Brookes. Anyway after some more back forth between the two trios, it ends with Bate and Seven hoisting Lykos and Brookes into tombstone positions. Joel then climbs up to the middle rope and Moustache mountain and Joel drill Brooke's and Lykos with a double indy taker. Am I dreaming? Anyway Joel then drills Shay with a Suplex as Trent covers Brookes for the one, two and three. Warren raises the hands of Trent, Tyler and Joel and Joel has the 24/7 belt. I guess it doesn't matter at this point. This was utter nonsense but no one cared and neither did this reviewer it was quiet a sight to see Joel freakin' Allen hit a double indy taker (with a little help of course) after seeing him give such an awkward stunner at PROGRESS in Brixton. During all the celebrations by Joel he doesn't notice Trent and Tyler have him cornered and then straight punch Joel. Trent then tells warren (the fan) to cover Joel. Which he does as Tyler counts the three and Warren ends the show as the new ATTACK 24/7 Champion! By @Billy_Jay83 |
