Pro Wrestling Chaos returns to Newman Hall in Westbury-on-Trym this coming Saturday (June 3rd) for the event UnBroLievable which features top independent wrestling star Matt Riddle. Riddle is the current PROGRESS Wrestling Atlas Division Champion as well as the current WWN Champion. He's also a former UFC fighter with an MMA fighting record of 5-3-2 and it's worth checking out some of his work on YouTube.
Mike Bird Challenges Matt Riddle for the PROGRESS Wrestling Atlas Division Championship Mike Bird has been a member of the Chaos roster since day one and is one of the finest wrestlers this country has seen over the past few years. He recently made his Chapter debut with PROGRESS at Chapter 47 and now has the opportunity to win one of their top titles. The catch being is that this won't take place inside of a PROGRESS Wrestling ring! That's right, for the first time ever in the UK, the PROGRESS Atlas title will be defended outside of its parent company and one of the UK's top stars has the chance to win this coveted championship. Riddle, meanwhile, is still very much in the infancy of his wrestling career in comparison to Bird. He made his debut just over two years ago after graduating from the world famous Monster Factory training school and has since shot to independent wrestling stardom and has become one of the most sought after wrestlers on the planet. It's not often these days that you'll see a promotion running a batch of shows and Matt Riddle's name isn't included on the line up. So who takes this one down? Will it be the savvy and wily veteran Mike Bird? Or will the striking game of the King of Bro's prove to be too much for Ginger Jesus? One thing is for certain, this one is going to be a hard hitting match up that could easily become a match of the year contender. You won't want to miss out on this one! Modern Culture (Edwin Ricci & Danny Jones) defend the Knights of Chaos Tag Team titles against Project Lucha (El Ligero and Martin Kirby) This one has been building for a few months. I'd go as far as saying that it's been building since the last time Newman Hall played host to Chaos back in January when Modern Culture got themselves involved in the match between Project Lucha and the then Knights of Chaos, The Steele Dragons. Also, if you remember, Project Lucha were a part of the match in which Jones and Ricci won the titles so will feel as though they deserve another shot at the belts. This is the sort of match where you feel anything could happen, especially when Modern Culture have the King of Chaos, who thus far isn't scheduled to defend his title, leading them and guiding them along their wrestling journey. On the flip side, Ligero and Kirby hold a huge experience advantage over the young duo and that could play a key role in deciding the outcome in this contest. It's intriguing and almost certain to be a great tag team contest! Team H8 (Jeckel & Gideon) team with Sierra Loxton to face The Brotherhood (Joe Mezinger, Nathan Bane & Elijah Dahl) This is another match which goes back to the previous show at Newman Hall. Back in January after the mixed tag team match between Gideon and Sierra Loxton vs Jeckel and Jetta, The Brotherhood looked to make a statement. That statement was made at the expense of Loxton and Gideon who were taken out by this hungry pack of wolves. Jeckel eventually ran the trio off but the damage had been done. After further attacks on both Jeckel and Gideon at the next two shows in Thornbury and Hanham, the two enemies reformed Team H8 at Sweet Dreams in April to face The Brotherhood in a losing effort. Now, with the numbers even with the always impressive Sierra Loxton on their side, can Team H8 pick up a win over their rivals? Or can The Brotherhood further their domination over the two veterans of the Chaos ring? This one will be brutal, hard hitting and not for the faint hearted. A battle will ensue in Bristol on June 3rd, but will it be the last in this war? Number one contenders match between Alex Steele and Eddie Ryan Both men have a legitimate claim to be the number one contender for the King of Chaos title. Eddie Ryan never received his one-on-one title shot which he earned last Summer and Alex will feel as though he was screwed by refereeing decisions during his King of Chaos title match at Sweet Dreams in April. What better way to determine a new number one contender to 'Flash' Morgan Webster's title than to have two men with a legitimate reason to be upset than to put them in the ring together. This really is another intriguing contest where Alex will most certainly have the Steele Section firmly behind him while the always angry and bitter Eddie Ryan will try to use all of his frustration to take out the Bristol native as he pursues what he believes is rightfully his. The fans in attendance and the King of Chaos will be watching this intently to see who is next in line for a shot at Morgan Webster. That's everything thus far, folks. Four matches announced along with the appearance of Cara Noir has left me wondering who will be challenging Morgan Webster at this show for the King of Chaos title? Will it be Cara Noir? Could it be Eddie Dennis? Heck, could it be Dick Riley? Alternatively, has Dave Mercy given 'Flash' the night off? I'm sure all will be revealed this Saturday as Pro Wrestling Chaos returns to Newman Hall for UnBroLievable!
