Pro Wrestling Chaos returns to Newman Hall in Westbury-on-Trym this coming Saturday (June 3rd) for the event UnBroLievable which features top independent wrestling star Matt Riddle. Riddle is the current PROGRESS Wrestling Atlas Division Champion as well as the current WWN Champion. He's also a former UFC fighter with an MMA fighting record of 5-3-2 and it's worth checking out some of his work on YouTube.
Mike Bird Challenges Matt Riddle for the PROGRESS Wrestling Atlas Division Championship Mike Bird has been a member of the Chaos roster since day one and is one of the finest wrestlers this country has seen over the past few years. He recently made his Chapter debut with PROGRESS at Chapter 47 and now has the opportunity to win one of their top titles. The catch being is that this won't take place inside of a PROGRESS Wrestling ring! That's right, for the first time ever in the UK, the PROGRESS Atlas title will be defended outside of its parent company and one of the UK's top stars has the chance to win this coveted championship. Riddle, meanwhile, is still very much in the infancy of his wrestling career in comparison to Bird. He made his debut just over two years ago after graduating from the world famous Monster Factory training school and has since shot to independent wrestling stardom and has become one of the most sought after wrestlers on the planet. It's not often these days that you'll see a promotion running a batch of shows and Matt Riddle's name isn't included on the line up. So who takes this one down? Will it be the savvy and wily veteran Mike Bird? Or will the striking game of the King of Bro's prove to be too much for Ginger Jesus? One thing is for certain, this one is going to be a hard hitting match up that could easily become a match of the year contender. You won't want to miss out on this one! Modern Culture (Edwin Ricci & Danny Jones) defend the Knights of Chaos Tag Team titles against Project Lucha (El Ligero and Martin Kirby) This one has been building for a few months. I'd go as far as saying that it's been building since the last time Newman Hall played host to Chaos back in January when Modern Culture got themselves involved in the match between Project Lucha and the then Knights of Chaos, The Steele Dragons. Also, if you remember, Project Lucha were a part of the match in which Jones and Ricci won the titles so will feel as though they deserve another shot at the belts. This is the sort of match where you feel anything could happen, especially when Modern Culture have the King of Chaos, who thus far isn't scheduled to defend his title, leading them and guiding them along their wrestling journey. On the flip side, Ligero and Kirby hold a huge experience advantage over the young duo and that could play a key role in deciding the outcome in this contest. It's intriguing and almost certain to be a great tag team contest! Team H8 (Jeckel & Gideon) team with Sierra Loxton to face The Brotherhood (Joe Mezinger, Nathan Bane & Elijah Dahl) This is another match which goes back to the previous show at Newman Hall. Back in January after the mixed tag team match between Gideon and Sierra Loxton vs Jeckel and Jetta, The Brotherhood looked to make a statement. That statement was made at the expense of Loxton and Gideon who were taken out by this hungry pack of wolves. Jeckel eventually ran the trio off but the damage had been done. After further attacks on both Jeckel and Gideon at the next two shows in Thornbury and Hanham, the two enemies reformed Team H8 at Sweet Dreams in April to face The Brotherhood in a losing effort. Now, with the numbers even with the always impressive Sierra Loxton on their side, can Team H8 pick up a win over their rivals? Or can The Brotherhood further their domination over the two veterans of the Chaos ring? This one will be brutal, hard hitting and not for the faint hearted. A battle will ensue in Bristol on June 3rd, but will it be the last in this war? Number one contenders match between Alex Steele and Eddie Ryan Both men have a legitimate claim to be the number one contender for the King of Chaos title. Eddie Ryan never received his one-on-one title shot which he earned last Summer and Alex will feel as though he was screwed by refereeing decisions during his King of Chaos title match at Sweet Dreams in April. What better way to determine a new number one contender to 'Flash' Morgan Webster's title than to have two men with a legitimate reason to be upset than to put them in the ring together. This really is another intriguing contest where Alex will most certainly have the Steele Section firmly behind him while the always angry and bitter Eddie Ryan will try to use all of his frustration to take out the Bristol native as he pursues what he believes is rightfully his. The fans in attendance and the King of Chaos will be watching this intently to see who is next in line for a shot at Morgan Webster. That's everything thus far, folks. Four matches announced along with the appearance of Cara Noir has left me wondering who will be challenging Morgan Webster at this show for the King of Chaos title? Will it be Cara Noir? Could it be Eddie Dennis? Heck, could it be Dick Riley? Alternatively, has Dave Mercy given 'Flash' the night off? I'm sure all will be revealed this Saturday as Pro Wrestling Chaos returns to Newman Hall for UnBroLievable!

The next Pro Wrestling Chaos event 'Sweet Dreams' comes from my hometown of Yate. I've always felt that Yate is somewhat the spiritual home of Pro Wrestling Chaos. After all, that's where the first event was held back in 2013. Since then, shows in Yate have had a special feel to them and something big has always happened. Big things such as 'Flash' Morgan Webster retiring the now owner of Pro Wrestling Chaos Dave Mercy (sorry to bring that one up, Dave) in 2015 or when Mercy made his triumphant return twelve months later as the co-owner of the company at Total Chaos.
It almost feels like literally anything can happen in Yate when Chaos is in town so here I'll breakdown 'Sweet Dreams' which takes place on May 29th and take you through all of the matches announced so far. King of Chaos Championship - 'Flash' Morgan Webster vs Alex Steele Alex Steele finally gets his shot at redemption, as well as a shot at the King of Chaos title. Twelve months ago at 'Heir 2 The Throne' (available on ukwrestlingondemand.com for just £3.99 a month), Alex had the Heir To The Throne contract in his grasp until 'Flash' Morgan Webster pushed the leader of the Steele Section off of the ladder and claimed the briefcase for himself. Since then, both mens careers have gone in different directions. Webster, on the shelf with an injury for ten months, came back to defeat six other men at 'Chaos B-Ballin'' in February to claim the title in his comeback match and has had successful title defences against Danny Jones and Wild Boar since that title win. Alex on the other hand had a successful reign as one half of the Knights of Chaos with Eddie Dennis however their title reign ended at the hands of Webster's Modern Culture team mates Edwin Ricci and Danny Jones. After a backstage confrontation between Steele and all three of Chaos' resident Mods, Dave Mercy signed the match to take place for the King of Chaos title in Alex's hometown. With the Steele Section in his corner, can Alex bring home the gold? Or will The Modfather's reign as champion continue as he goes from strength-to-strength since returning from injury? Find out on May 29th! ICW Tag Team Champions Bird & Boar vs Knights of Chaos Champions Danny Jones & Edwin Ricci For the first time ever, the Insane Championship Wrestling tag team titles will be defended in a Pro Wrestling Chaos ring. At the same time, the Knights of Chaos titles will also be defended in Chaos' first ever double title match. There's plenty of history involved in this one which just adds to the spice of what's sure to be an awesome match! Danny Jones and Edwin Ricci are products of the Dragon Pro Wrestling Academy. Mike Bird is the former head trainer of said academy and Wild Boar is the current head trainer. Now, take the fact that both Modern Culture members were trained by their opponents and put that along with the recent history between former King of Chaos champion Wild Boar and all three members of Modern Culture and you're certain to see some sparks flying in Yate. With Boar out of contention for the King of Chaos title for the rest of the year, Mike Bird suggested he and his partner start defending their ICW Tag Team Titles in Chaos. With Boar always being up for a challenge, he gladly took Bird up on the suggestion and Chaos management were quick to set up this match between four of the top wrestlers on the Chaos roster. But who walks out a double champion? Will Bird and Boar walk out with all of the gold and take the Knights of Chaos titles to ICW with them? Or will Modern Culture score a huge upset and find themselves on the receiving end of phone calls from ICW owner Mark Dallas? Make sure you're in Yate to get the answer! Tommy Dreamer vs Eddie Ryan For months Eddie Ryan has been pleading and begging Chaos management to give him opportunities that he feels he deserves. Now he as arguably the biggest opportunity of his career in former two time ECW World Heavyweight Champion and wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer! Eddie is fresh off of a win over 'Dirty' Dick Riley at 'Total Chaos' last month and is sure to be relishing this opportunity at a legitimate legend of the sport. Dreamers day doesn't just feature this match, he'll also be involved in a Q&A session before the show begins answering questions from Ben Allen who has done a fine job in conducting interviews with Chris Hero, Hardcore Holly and M.V.P. in the past. Tickets are still available for this with prices starting at £15 (+£1.75 booking fee) so make sure you're in attendance to listen to what this icon has to say about his career. Big Grizzly vs Mikey Whiplash Another man constantly looking for opportunities is Big Grizzly. He feels as though he's the rightful number one contender and after confronting Dave Mercy following his loss to Pete Dunne at 'Total Chaos', he demanded a title match. Instead of granting him a title shot, Mercy gave him an opportunity to face former ICW Heavyweight Champion Mikey Whiplash, a man Grizz knows all too well after last years 'All or Nothing' main event. Having not been seen in a Chaos ring since October, Whiplash will surely be chomping at the bit to get his hands on Big Grizzly and to show the fans what they've been missing for the past six months. Grizzly, on the other hand, will want to prove to everyone that he's as good as he says he is by defeating a UK wrestling icon in the Necromancer. This one has all the ingredients to be something special and is not to be missed! Joey Ryan vs 'Dirty' Dick Riley vs Nixon Newell In what's sure to be one of the more bizarre matches on the card...hell, one of the more bizarre matches of the year, Joey Ryan and 'Dirty' Dick Riley will be in the same ring. However, they can't take their more than formidable opponent lightly. Those who've followed Nixon Newell throughout her career will know she's more than capable with hanging with the boys having faced men such as Chris Brookes, Mark Andrews and current WWE United Kingdom champion Tyler Bate over the years. You've got to believe that Joey and Dick will be doing everything they can to bring sleazy back in this match while Nixon will be looking to make a lasting impression in the memories of the Chaos faithful in her debut for this particular company. This is sure to be the funniest and quite possibly most disturbing match of the night. However it turns out, it's going to be entertaining! Another situation that needs addressing with no match announcement is that between the former tag team known as Team H8 (Jeckel and Gideon) and the three men who continue to be a thorn in their side in The Brotherhood. Dave Mercy promised Gideon he'd "sort something" after The Red Emperor demanded to face all three men after 'Total Chaos'. How will Mercy appease one of his top stars? Will we finally see Team H8 reunite to face The Brotherhood? Will Gideon face them alone? Hell, does Mercy have something up his sleeve to make a six man tag? If that's the way they go, all I'll say is that Jimmy Havoc isn't signed to a match yet. Just a suggestion... With the card shaping up as nicely as it is you won't want to miss this event. Check out www.prowrestlingchaos.com for ticket information and make sure you follow Chaos on all forms of social media for the latest information on this show. As I said earlier, something big always happens in Yate so get yourself a ticket and come down to enjoy a night of fantastic entertainment suitable for all the family! Pro Wrestling Chaos returns to Thornbury Leisure Centre on February 18th for the huge event 'Chaos B Ballin''. The last time Chaos hit Thornbury back in July 2016 we saw some huge matches including Eddie Dennis vs Chris Hero in an epic main event and the Chaos match of the year which saw Will Ospreay, Paul Robinson and Mark Andrews overcome El Ligero, Martin Kirby and Shane Strickland in a great six man tag match. This show promises to be just as exciting so I'll start with breaking down the aftermath of the last show 'Mysterious City of Chaos'.
As I'm sure most of you are aware by now, 'Flash' Morgan Webster left 'Mysterious City of Chaos' as the new King of Chaos Champion having cashed in his Heir To The Throne briefcase. Chaos owner Dave Mercy acted quickly, stripping Webster of the title and vacating it meaning that we are currently without a champion. Mercy announced that Webster will main event 'Chaos B Ballin'' in a seven man elimination match for the title against Wild Boar, Jimmy Havoc, Mike Bird, Big Grizzly, Eddie Ryan and Dave Mastiff. For the first time in almost three years, we're guaranteed to have a new champion in a match containing seven of the UK's top wrestlers who are all striving to sit on the throne as the new King of Chaos. But who will come out on top as the new champion? Get along to Thornbury Leisure Centre on February 18th to find out! The Knights of Chaos championships will be on the line as current champions Eddie Dennis and Alex Steele (The Steele Dragons) have issued a challenge to two of Chaos' top teams - Project Lucha (Martin Kirby and El Ligero) and The Modern Culture (Danny Jones and Richie Edwards). After the shenanigans at the end of the match between Project Lucha and The Steele Dragons at 'Mysterious City of Chaos' where The Modern Culture got themselves involved, Dennis and Steele issued the challenge for a triple threat which was accepted by both teams and Chaos management. Who will walk out of Thornbury as the Knights of Chaos? Be there to find out! The rivalry between Sierra Loxton and Jetta is heating up. After ending up on the losing team at 'Mysterious City of Chaos' and losing at the 'Let Them Eat Chaos' event in November, Sierra is looking for revenge and Dave Mercy has given her the opportunity to gain it. At 'Chaos B Ballin'', Jetta will team with the villainous Jinny to face Sierra Loxton and her tag team partner former three time WWE Women's Champion and two time WWE Diva's Champion, Melina, who makes her Chaos debut. With the experienced former WWE superstar by her side, will Sierra finally manage to pick up a win over her nemesis? Or will Jinny be able to assist Jetta in getting another win over 'The Freaky Princess'? One thing we know for sure is that this one is personal and Sierra will be doing whatever it takes to gain revenge on Jetta! Sierra Loxton's partner from 'Mysterious City of Chaos', Gideon, has gotten into a rivalry of sorts with The Brotherhood; a band of men looking to make an impact in Chaos, however they're not signed to a contract. Gideon has pleaded with Chaos owner, Dave Mercy, for an opportunity at The Brotherhood. Dave has rewarded Gideon, but not with Joe Mezinger, Nathan Bane and Elijah Dahl. Instead, Gideon will face former two time WWE United States Champion, M.V.P. I'm sure Gideon would rather be facing any, or all three members of The Brotherhood, but facing (and possibly defeating) a former WWE Superstar can only help Gideon in his plight to get what he wants. The one question on my mind is c"ould The Brotherhood show up and have a say in the outcome of this match?" Only one way to find out, make sure you're there to see it! Little has been spoken about the following match so far but former ITV 2 Love Island star Adam Maxted will face Jeckel at 'Chaos B Ballin''. Little is known amongst the Chaos faithful about the in ring credentials of Maxted, so it'll be interesting to see how he fares in his Chaos debut. Speaking of interesting, it'll be interesting to see what sort of reaction Jeckel receives after his actions at 'Mysterious City of Chaos' when he stopped The Brotherhood from attacking his former tag team partner Gideon. Andrew Everett was announced as the third international star to appear at 'Chaos B Ballin'' and it's been announced that he will be facing a man who impressed massively at 'Mysterious City of Chaos' - 'Dirty' Dick Riley. Everett is a current member of the TNA Impact Wrestling roster and was trained by The Hardyz. Riley on the other hand has recently moved into singles competition and defeated his former partner 'Filthy' Chris Walker at 'Mysterious City of Chaos'. This will be a match that nobody will want to miss, so make sure you're there at Thornbury Leisure Centre to see it! 'Chaos B Ballin'' is shaping up nicely and with a high level of unpredictability about what might happen on this card, why would you want to miss this event? We'll see debut's of no less than four wrestlers (Former WWE Superstars M.V.P. and Melina, Adam Maxted and TNA Superstar Andrew Everett) as well as a guaranteed new King of Chaos. Tickets are still available from www.prowrestlingchaos.com/upcoming-events Also, there will be An Audience With M.V.P! (similar to the Hardcore Holly and Chris Hero shows held last year) prior to the action. An Audience With M.V.P! has a start time of 1630hrs. Doors open for 'Chaos B Ballin'' at 1800hrs. For any further details, find Pro Wrestling Chaos on all forms of social media https://www.facebook.com/ProWrestlingChaos https://twitter.com/chaos_wrestling https://www.instagram.com/prowrestlingchaos Also, make sure you sign up to UK Wrestling On Demand, where you can see all Pro Wrestling Chaos events for the low cost of just £3.99 a month! That's almost free and as I like to say, we all like free stuff - www.ukwrestlingondemand.com 2016 ended on an extremely high note for Bristol promotion Pro Wrestling Chaos and 2017 will hopefully start as 2016 ended. The first event of the new calendar year will be 'Mysterious City of Chaos', coming from Westbury-On-Trym's Newman Hall. This is a new venue for the ever growing Pro Wrestling Chaos and with the matches announced so far, it's sure to be another memorable evening of wrestling!
